Does that slightly longer round neck give it a bit more toe hang or a touch less?

A touch less, although I believe Byron can hand-make these long necks to create almost any toe-hang you want.

Here is my 612 welded long neck. Very simple with a blank sole but I love the finish. I had a friend who plays on some mini tours pick it up and as soon as he picked it up he says "What do you have here? This isn't just some off the rack putter." Without even seeing that it was a Byron he could tell.

Got a surprise knock at the door this afternoon!

 

DH89 / Blue Oil / Matte top line and pocket / High polish on the bumpers, face and sole.

 

Crappy weather here. Can't wait to get it out in the sunlight for better pics.

That looks really close to mine—same finish and the short sight line on the top line. Really loving mine so far, especially since I put the black shaft in it. Enjoy!

I know he has a deep water finish at least for stainless--maybe that's now his black oxide-like option?

Deep water is for stainless. Black oxide is still available for carbon.
