Miura Limited Edition Blades "July 2009"?

I went to Miura website and it says there will be a new version of Miura small blade in July 2009.

Does anyone have more info regarding this new small blade?
What are the updates?
Differences between current/last year's small blade and upcoming small blade?

From a club builder on WRX, he says it's the same club with different logo --> 1957 logo

Not yet.

I asked the Miura rep the same question a couple weeks ago.

He said they will come out with the "V" grooves in 2010.

I thought that was strange because it seems like it is perfect timing for club manufactures to start introducing their USGA conforming "V" grooved irons and wedges right now.

I suppose since I have a 3-PW set with non-conforming grooves I will only have to purchase the 5-PW with "V" grooves because my 3 and 4 iron are less than 25* loft and will still be conforming with the new rules.

I might want to purchase the whole set so they all match.

I also use my 3 iron for knock down shots when I get into trouble and I like it to stay low to fly under low tree limbs and such.

Unfortunately I had to use my 3 iron for that type of shot 4 times last Sunday.

The V" grooves might help to create less spin and help me keep the ball lower.

I prefer my 3 hybrid off the tee, but I do not feel the 3 hybrid performs the knock down recovery shot very well.

no the miura baby blades are not the same with just a different logo...they are smaller then the other blade...shortrt heel to toe and overall size is a bit smaller

I believe drew123 and jaksonlui have misinterpreted the original posters question.

The Original Poster wanted to know what the differences were, if any, between the first,latest or early 2009 Limited Edition Small Blades(the ones that just sold out) and the much anticipated upcoming July 2009 edition of the Small Blades.

Not "What was the difference between the regular size Tournament Blades and the current Small Blades".

According to drew123's answer, the upcoming July 2009 Small Blades will be slightly smaller than the early 2009 Small Blades, which could be true.

The first answer was that the only difference between the early 2009 Small Blades and the upcoming July 2009 Small Blades will be a change in the logo, which could be true and is the same answer the Miura rep gave me a couple weeks ago.

in that case I think you are right, I could've misinterpreted the question.

I don't know the differences between the two limited blades. From what I have read, it's just the logo.

I can't see how it can be any smaller than the older limited blades, it's already small. i don't think they can keep the head weight if it was smaller.

I want the Miura Small Blades with 2010 USGA conforming "V" Grooves.

I was informed by USA Miura rep Bill Holowaty that all Miura irons can be ordered now with R&A/USGA 2010 conforming grooves.

Prices will range from $200 to $225 per club depending on grip and shaft choice.

Therefore 3-PW will be $1600 to $1800.

I believe Miura's MSRP of the last/latest Small Blades was $1699.
