Awesome show....I work for FOX in Chicago and people think I am biased. No way...this is the best thing on Televsion.

 

Now for the bias....Prison Break and House are up there as well!!

I will have to give it to you, Prison Break and House are up there. Neither are on my tivo list, but I'll watch them if the TVs on.

 

The show I've really been into this last few seasons is The Unit. Its pretty good. Its about a black ops group thats basically a hit group at times.

I've watched 24 once and I thought that it was pretty good...but does anyone else find that 24 and "The A-Team" are very simular? All we're missing is Colonel Decker chasing Jack Bauer! :drinks:

24 is my second favorite show. The Shield is my first favorite. I do think that Jack Bauer would be able to take Vic Mackey though.

Not only is 24 nasty as hell, but it is also insanely sick bc of the extreme action and it just never stops getting crazy. It seems like each episode a mole is shown or a bad person is realized, or something crazy like a big bombing happens, and of course, un die-able jack(hes undiable, which is obviously insanely unbelievable) is sent to save the world, and he's typically the winner, YAY 24 IS INSANE!!! never missed a season or episode all 6!

I supose i'd have to be classed as an avid fan. All the first five seasons grace my DVD shelves and I'm setting the DVD every Sunday night at the moment for season 6...

 

I does require a bit of suspension of disbelief, and the "real time" aspect of it stretches credulity a bit but the plotlines and general writing are first class and the presentation and cinematography are novel and very cleverly done. It also is one of the few shows that leaves me gagging for more after each episode.

 

First class stuff. Hats off to Fox. The Shield was another tiumph on their part.

Anybody agree with me? the saeson finale was a bit of a dud. It was good up untill the last 20 minutes...which just killed it.

 

I dont get why jack would have shot his dad, or destroyed the boat his dad could have gotten off from...or better yet GOTTEN THE DAMN CHIP!!!

I am a total 24 anorak. I Randomly watched the first season and got hooked. I now have them all on dvd and watched every season astleast twice.

 

Series 7 is going to be weird without CTU and i hope they still have some of the CTU personnel involved. I am stoked that its finally the day its screened!

 

Its on 9-10pm here in the uk so i will get to see it a good few hours before you guys *laughs foolishly*!

I must admit I never really watched 24, but a lot of people seem to love it. I got a big vacation coming and since it´s winter over here I will borrow my cousins 24 Episodes on DVD and give it a try. :)

Have not missed one episode. Caught on to it in 03 or 4 then went back and bought all seasons. 3 episodes at a time is the only way to watch it......

Loved the show at first, until we got those Cisco IP phones at work. You lose your Internet connection and you can say goodbye to the phone. How CTU ever got anything done is beyond me. You would think that the terrorists or President Logan would figure that out. Oh wait, Cisco is a sponsor. Nevermind.

However this series was written before die hard 4 but because of the writers strike it was never finished. Last nights episode was great and i am not counting the days till next monday.
