Taylormade Burner Forged iron review

For the record, the Taylormade Burner Forged Irons are the best overall irons i've ever played. I bought a set about a month ago and have now played 7 rounds with them. Enough for me to conclude they are a combination of the best feeling, forgiving, looking and performing irons i've ever used and i've used A LOT of different irons (including Miura, Epon, Fourteen, Fusions, Ping, Cleveland, Mizuno, etc, etc).

They don't feel like a pure muscle back forged iron........ they don't have that same feeling of density when struck, but they're super soft, they're super forgiving no matter where on the face you strike the ball and they're very long. They also look fantastic. They can worked left and right but they will absolutely hit everything straight if that's the intention.

I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend these. Suburb iron. And I don't even particularly like Taylormade.

good ol DG X100's. Can say enough about these clubs. Pured or thin..... they go long and extremely straight. For anyone looking into new irons..... you HAVE to consider these. And even if you're not looking into new irons.

S25C and 1025 are the same.

Yep, TSG. Fast, reliable service as always.
I can't remember how much I paid. It's was $1100 for 5-pw. Bought a 3 and 4 for an extra cost, too.

In Australia we have to pay duty and tax on anything brought in over $1000. Is this the case in the USA? Want a set of these from TSG but don't want to get hit with extra $$. Might get em sent to family in US.

Wondering about the size of the club head, what is it comparable to?

O.k. as you have played several different brands, how about a full review? What other Forged Iron do they feel close to? Comparisons of Control, Distance, and so on. (As an example, Looks of the Callaway Tour Forged, distance similar to Mizuno GI Irons like MX 200, and so on. Anything that you can relate to these would be very helpful). Pics would be great as well. Tourspec doesn't show all the angles through the set.

I currently game the TP Forged 2008s and am considering the Burner Forged. I am a little concerned about the stronger lofts and how I will need to change my club set up.
