Golf Outing in Houston area

March 11th, 12th or 13th

Going to be in Houston from March 10th thru the 14th and wanting to get a golfwrx group together to play some golf. I grew up in Humble and know a lot of courses around the northeast side of town but like other courses around town as well.

If you're interested email me at chuck_26@msn.com. My bro-in-law has a hook up at Redstone CC and see if we can get on that close to the Shell Houston Open. Last time I played there was 2 weeks before the open and the course was awesome.

Also need some other ideas to where we might want to play if Redstone is unavailable? Is the TPC course in The Woodlands open for play? Augusta Pines ETC.....

So you Houston guys chime in and LMK if you're interested in playing and any places you want to play. I'm down for anywhere that is affordable($100 and less). I like Fish Creek too.

A little far out for me to plan but if my son's baseball season allows it, I would love to play. Have played both courses at Redstone, Fish Creek, Augusta Pines, Gleannloch Pines, Oakhurst and just about every other daily fee course in Houston. Give me a shout closer to when you will be here.

I enjoyed St. James and Splendors when I was in Houston. The hospitality was outstanding!

im working on us playing that friday and i'm going to text my brother in law and see what deals he can get me at local courses that he can get the hook up at. Might be free or might not be and if he has to be there for us to get a deal

Talked to bro in law and he called his buddy (asst. pro) at redstone but couldn't get him on the phone. He's going to try again tomorrow and see if he can get me on and how many can play. If this happens not sure what it will cost but bro in law thinks $75.

I PM'ed you when you first made this thread and stated my interest. However, I cannot play on Friday. I would only be able to play on Saturday or Sunday. It's too bad for me. I was looking forward to this. Y'all have fun!

Woodforest at Fish Creek is a nice course. There are 27 holes, the Front, Back and West. I prefer the Front and the Back, as do most I know that are familiar with it. You may ask about which nines you'll be playing.

Sounds good... I will be there - I've played there once in a scramble about 3-4 years ago, but other than that I have no clue about the course...look forward to it!

same here, played a scramble there a fews years back. When I left Humble the weather was nice and when we got to fish creek the temp had dropped 30* and was raining.
