Miken Golf?

Any Softball/ Baseball guys try these yet?

I am a fan of Miken softball/baseball products, they make some of the best bats available to players.

I wondered if anyone has given these a try, not many choices of shafts, but i would bet the face is hot as any.

First I heard of this. I played softball for many years before i took up golf and Miken softball bats were real hot.

I was just informed of them today as well, one of my friends that i played softball with knows how i kind of like golf equipment, he also knows i like Miken softball bats, he asked if i had seen them, i was shocked when i did.

Interesting....I think I still have a couple of original Ultra Maxloads sitting in my closet. Those were some damn HOT bats!!!

I remember playing the Freak and I thought that was a hot bat but then I swung the Ultra. Wow! Couldnt play them though in our league. To the OP, not a bad looking driver.

Yes the Freak and the ultra were really good bats and extremly hot. I believe they was one of the reasons for new regulations in bats and balls. Also before that was the double wall come out in mid 90's showing my age now it was first in our area this is when I starting using and used them for many years I gained alot of distance. If I ever have a chance I'll try their golf clubs.

Yep, Demarini Double Wall started it all....then the Worth Ti51 Titanium had a short stint before they banned it, but the composites are what changed the game in my opinion...and not necessarily for the better. Any 150 lb weakling could hit it out with an Ultra, and in the hands of a true power hitter they were flat out scary bats.

yes the composites. Worth another good bat forgot about it. Another hot bat and usually last one weekend was the green easton can't remember the name I've still got a couple of them of course they are cracked.
We have turned this into a softball forum. I miss the game alot and really miss the people i played with and against through the years.
Power bilt is trying to get into the golf business and now Miken but it is so stuff.
Alot of good establish golf companies get majority of the business. Titleist taylormade and Callaway all three good companies but i rather play products from these small companies if there product is just as good. I like supporting them, growing up running a small business I just feel compel to play their products.
Adams and Nike has alot of good products and they still are low man on totem pole but are slowly rising to the top.

I play a ton of softball...didn't know Miken was getting into golf products. I wouldn't doubt these are pretty solid drivers.

On a sidenote...another company sticking it to lefty's.

haha, yep. One of the guys on my team last year had one, it only lasted about 2 months...
