Mp-33 or J33b

My birthday is coming up soon and i want to step it up to blades. These are my two favourites but i just dont know which.

MP-33 are the best all around blade I've ever hit...by far the easiest to hit, and incredibly soft.

Both are a good choice... but I have the MP-33's and they are really easy to hit, especially helps with the transition if stepping the ante up. To put it this way, they have been around for a while and don't look like they're going to be going anywhere soon. They'll be around for a while.

 

Bridgestone also makes really great products. My best advice is to try out both sets. If it really, comes down to it, go on how the clubs look (i.e. the shape, finish) and how heavy they feel and how oyu liked your clubs balanced.

I've think the mizuno's are best, also in the design.

They are also easy to control in air ! ;-)

Take a look at the Bridgestone interview here on the site - even they admit the J33B is one of the most demanding irons available. The long neck makes it a very difficult iron. So I'd say go with MP-33's - or the J36B's if you can swing it.

My son uses the MP-33s. These are the most accurate irons he has ever used. They have increased his ability to put balls within 4 feet of the hole.

I had j36 combo previously. Blade short iron, player cavity mid, and pocket cavity high irons. I'm actually going to be selling em dang cheap pretty soon here. I loved those, great blend of forgiveness and control. Not as intense as a full set of blades, but you still g a phenomenal forged feel and great control. Give those a look. But strictly out of your choices, mp 33 because as stated above, j33bs were just nutso difficult to hit. J33 cavity back irons on the other hand were awesome.

I concur! I have a set of J33 combos in the bag and I find them soft, accurate and forgiving. Especially the mid and long irons. The blades of the bunch are sweet but you have to hit them flush. The ball will do what ever your swing tells them to do.
