best rain covers for bags

the rain covers that come with most bags are terrible, so i am looking for the best product to keep my clubs dry in the rain. i am looking at the clubrella / drizzle stik type products, and this rain wedge product http://www.rainwedge.com/.

 

can anyone give me some advice on these or let me know some other products i should be looking at?

The best raincover that I found is from seaforth rain gear. It is the same cover that the PGA and LPGA use. Look at the players bags when you're watching them play and you'll see them on just about every bag. I have one for my mini staff bag, it fits great and is very roomy and easy to use and keeps the clubs perfectly dry . those seaforth do look promising. anyone have advice on getting the slicker for the entire bag vs. just the hood ?

If you use a hand cart or battery operated walking cart, anything that attaches to the top of the bag via a clip doesn't work. They fall off due to the bouncing of the bag. The Seyfarth (sp) is an update to another cover with a very similar in design and is no longer avilable. The Seyfarth is a pretty good option

I use a cover similar to this on my Speedcart. Coupled with the umbrella holder, your clubs actually get drier when it rains!

i chose a sun mountain h2no bag, with a hood. very water proof super light and works great. i dont have to put on a cover plus fits great in the micro cart.

As goofy as it sounds, I really like the little "bag umbrellas" that go over the bag. I know it makes me look like a hacker, but I like them better than any of the rain hoods I've ever used.

Best thing I've used has been the Hood-e type raid hood that comes with some of Ogio's bags. It's a spring-loaded clamshell design that keeps the rain out but still lets you get to your clubs easily. Plus its big enough to have plenty of room so your clubs don't get all tangled up with the head covers that are all squished up inside of it.

I've had some crappy ones but, the rain hood that came with my Bagboy is actually pretty good. Two way zippers, and lots of wiggle room.

Check out the Titleist dri-hood. Ping has something sumilar as well.

Aree with the Titleist dry hood, even went further and sprayed it withe water repellant......its perfect.
