Tiger's NEW Swing Coach ... Who should it be and Why???

Most of Seans plays play a fade off the tee.. He doesnt teach "severe inside out" path he likes to have club on circle the circle, and shape it more so with ball position and hand path.. All of Seans players can shape it well and tend to go with a high hard fade off the tee.. and I believe Tiger is one of those guys that has to see a certain shape to his ball on every shot, while playing fade off tee..

Tiger will never be formally associated with a coach ever again. He has all the pieces, he only needs to arrange them in the right order. A golf savant like tiger will always paint by his own number. He's going to swing the club the way HE want too which is why the long running trouble with the driver. He believed he could make a theory he had work and ran into a dead end...happens to everyone. He's back up...consult with some folks....then head down another road with it. I wish him the best.... I'll be an old man before another savant comes along.

he has worked a few times with somebody and its not a tour coach. Its on the table as of now.

Right. There's this nonsensical notion floating around he needs someone older to play the role of some kind of overall "life mentor" too. Bollocks! His personal issues have nothing to do with who he should choose as coach. And even with them, he still has a lot more to offer than receive about the mental side of things, and now he has some real hard life experiences to go along with his sharp mind. The guy needs someone with quality info and a quality eye ... nothing more, nothing less.

Me - he needs fresh perspective and I'm it. There are a couple minor things in the swing he needs help with - but a fresh look to golf may help him out.

Everyone can see what Tigar is doing wrong in the big picture. He has been having this problem longer than Haney .. however, his philosophey was not the solution.

With that being said .. He needs someone to constantley remind him of what poor swing mechanics are causing the underneath flip...off the tee..Also I think he is seeing someone but it will not come out until the end of the season.

He is not playing that much competive golf well there is a tournament this week is he playing???? Why not.. No more of that excuse he can play every week if he wants and that is a fact.

Drop the appearance fee and start playing golf..

As much as I think that this guy's "turn the screwdriver" method is garbage, his point about Tiger bowing his left wrist (Bonar says he's flat, I say bowed) at the top instead of cupping it is correct, IMO. I think it's a big part of his problems with the driver especially.

Read recently that Tiger may be using a young aspiring pro by the name of Corey Carroll as a pair of eyes for his swing. Carroll has been a protege of Haney and Woods for a few years now. He's supposed to have a pretty good understanding of the swing, especially TW's. Woods and Carroll frequently jogging together in the Islesworth community. Not sure if that's just speculation but maybe it's similar to what Kenny Perry did (i.e. using a young instructor ... aka Matt Killen).

Anyone else hear that too?

I see one thing and I am no swing coach the late move off the right side on the downswing ... I see it in his right leg. I have no idea why but he is forcing that move. My guess he is holding off the underneath swing plane move.

Those dont sound like sour grapes at all.

I wouldnt be shocked to see Tiger go across town to Mike Bender at Timacuan-same guy who teaches Zach Johnson. Although he is a promoter of the draw.
