Tiger's NEW Swing Coach ... Who should it be and Why???

I reckon Jimmy Ballard. He teaches to keep the club centered and Tigers always saying the club gets to far behind him.

That's because Miller talks out his arse from a great 'Heighth'.......it's not even a word Johnny.

I don't think Tigers' swing has been broke for a while.....more mental issues (understandably) than anything else.....yesterday was the first day he didn't look embarrassed to be out there to me.

I think he's looking for a return to the "high hands / reverse C" of his era, and gets all excited at the slightest hint of it.

Yesterday was just nasty to watch. Except for McDowell and the Frenchman, the others (mostly the "heavyweights") scraped it around like amateurs. I was seriously bored, I get to watch 5 handicaps in my regular 4-ball, I don't want to waste my entire Sunday doing the same parked in front of a TV.

I realize that this may sound off the rung, but..........I think that someone like a Johnny Miller, or Nick Faldo would be a great choice. I doubt that he and Butch will ever re-unite, which is sad really, but I think either JM, or Faldo would do nicely. They both understand the golf swing like no other, and they have both been there before as players. Both are former all world players, and champions, and I think they could command Tiger's attention, and respect. I would hope that they would get Woods back to playing a fade as his predominant shot. The draw seems to have caused him mostly fits. I also think his golf ball is some of the problem. The Nike ball he plays is a very, very, high spin ball. Playing a high spin ball when your swing is out of control, will only stand to magnify your swing errors, in my opinion. Hopefully he'll get his life in order, and get back to it. He has a tough road ahead of him, but if he's sincere, then I wish him the best.

If I were Tiger, I'd swallow my pride, and talk to someone who wouldn't be afraid to NOT be a yes man. He needs straight talk, and sound advice. He should know enough about his own swing at this point to fix it. Trevino always said he never had a swing coach because he couldn't find one who could beat him. Lol! Bout sums it up, IMO.

Harmon's definitely not a "yes man." And Haney may have been TW's lap dog off the course but, like it or not, TW definitely adopted his method. Really what he needs is someone with the best info and good communication skills ... nothing more, nothing less.

I'm with you M...I think he should sack up...
Having mistresses is a sign of virility in many cultures and is looked upon favorably...Hey, he doesn't get husband of the year award...but you never know what was going on that led to his going astray--maybe she always had a headache... No matter, move on cut your losses...get back to winning tournaments...Anybody care what Kobe did in Cal'arado' anymore...

No instructor understands the golf swing as well as Tiger understands it. Haney was a companion who meant well but he does not not know what he is doing and so does more harm than good with his "instruction".
Tour swings are built during junior golf years.
