+1. This ball is loong, and feels pretty good too. I have compared it to the Callaway HX Hot, and I think it's longer. I always use this ball in my scrambles.

I used my usual golf ball, the Pro V1X.

How'd we do?

The tournament paid one spot front, one spot back, and six spots overall. They eliminated the skins pool.
We won the front-nine at -9. We played the back-nine at -5. Overall, -14 was good for 3rd place. We each netted $400. That was very enjoyable.

Each 3-man team was assigned one cart. We loaded all three bags on the cart and took turns walking.

Both. This tournament draws our regions better players and is played on a golf course with 7 par fours, 6 par threes, and 5 par fives. Three of the par fives are reachable in 2 shots. The par threes are curious with the shortest playing at 125 yards, downhill, and the longest playing at 215 yards, uphill. The course can bite you, but in a 3-man scrabble, it can be brought to its knees. Two teams tied at -15.

Dunlap Rebel and the Caymen Golf Desparado are both not legal. They seem smaller and heavier than conforming balls. They go deep!

Yet another vote for the HX Hot. If your main goal is to hit it far, then this is your ball.

The most ridiculous distance ball I ever hit was the Pinnacle Titanium Distance ball. I believe it was around in the mid to late 90s. Absolute bombs!

+2 - I keep a couple of sleeves of the FX Long around just for this purpose.
