My rep made short mention of an adjustable version of the new 9064LS....and here it is, straight from Adams Golf.

"Speedline 9064LS Distance Fitting System
For the first time in the industry, a distance fitting system (DFS) version of the Speedline 9064LS is also available that allows the consumer to adjust for not only face angle and loft but also for club length. With the DFS, the head and shaft length on this special version of the 9064LS is adjustable and the consumer receives a kit with all the tools they need to optimize their driver to meet the demands of different conditions and specific swings.

All DFS versions of the Speedline 9064LS come at a standard length of 45.5 inches and D3 swing weight. However, with the DFS kit, the length, loft and face angle can be adjusted using the specially designed removable spacers and weight inserts. Each DFS kit includes a torque wrench, additional spacers and additional weights—all of which fit into a conveniently designed zippered case. Ultimately the consumer has shaft length options between 45 and 46 inches and loft/face angle options of one degree either way.

“Shaft length may be the most dramatic factor in determining distance,” said Tim Reed, Vice President of Research and Development for Adams Golf. “As the first company in the industry to engineer a changeable system not only for loft and lie but also shaft length, we feel we are finally giving consumers the option to truly optimize their drivers for increased distance off the tee. With the advent of this technology, if you are not fitting your driver for shaft length, you’re not fitting properly.”

The DFS version of the Speedline 9064LS driver will ship to golf shops beginning August 10 and will offer either the Aldila RIP Alpha or the Aldila RIP Gamma graphite shafts. The suggested retail price (SRP) for the DFS version of the Speedline 9064LS driver is $479.99. "

Worthless? really? Would you rather not know about new offerings if you can't immediately see them? Sounds like it is the same 9064LS driver with an adjustable hosel very similar to the 910 hosel IMO. Sorry to have made the "worthless" post.

The R&D people at Adams are really leading the pack when it comes to design and innovation to help us mortal golfers who want to improve. I'm amazed at how they get things in the pipeline, tested, and to the marketplace so quickly. I'm anxious to have one of these to play with!

ive seen it....my rep had it at the shop..wasnt able to hit it because i was busy but it looks GREAT!! Adams really dont get the respect they deserve....I think it will do great

The real question will be "how long will this new Adams club be backordered"? They are the worst in getting their clubs to market!

I thought they were only doing the adjustable LENGTH, as like a fitting thing. I didn't realize that they were going to have adjustable face angle, loft etc as well as length.

I haven't seen the adjustable one. Adam's rep came in the other day and he didn't even mention it, of course that was before the national sales meeting. I am actually hoping this isn't true. Anything adjustable just hasn't worked for any manufacturer other than taylormade. It put Nickent out of business but Adam's has much bigger pockets and credibility. Hopefully we get a picture soon.

Verified from a very credible source. Told I would see one in a couple weeks. I'm a little bummed now because my order has already gone in for the 9064ls :/

I think adjustability is cool but I would rather have a fixed head that was the specs that I wanted. once you get it set you dont ever adjust it anymore.

I was able to get some pictures of the new adjustable Speedline 9064LS and hit it. I was really surprised with this "transformer" of a driver. I had initially thought it might feel not as solid as a normal driver with the shims and screws. Those thoughts were erased quickly. It felt solid/one piece like any other driver or R9. The fit/finish was spectacular. If you didn't know the shaft could be extended, you wouldn't know it was any different from the regular 9064LS. The heads of the two are different though. At least to my eye. There seemed to be a bit more bulge/roll in the adjustable head.

The driver is adjustable for face angle, length and swingweight.

The kit...it's color coded. The weights have different colors and must match the shaft extension for proper swingweight. Blue dot weight with blue shaft extension. Red weight with red extension. The wrench is a torque wrench you like the one you find that comes with the TaylorMade drivers.

Price...from what I heard..the same as the regular 9064LS.

Thanks for the pictures. Some of the Adams reps. give you a blank look like this is news to them. The hosel treatment certainly isn't the best looking at address. Taylor Made does a better job of blending it, but if it works well it will be overlooked (ala the Ping TISI). Gives the impression of one of those kid starter clubs with the real whippy shaft. Still will be interesting to see how well Adams does at this price point.
Still the most impressive thing of all was how quiet Adams kept this---no spy pics or anything. Must be dealing with a company in China that doesn't have a back door..

I wish I could jump on the praise bandwagon, but the photos here are of a fitting system driver. This is not a production driver. It is used to fit someone into the correct loft, lie and shaft. NOT designed for sale to the public. I am an Adams guy, sell lots of it, believe in it, and play it. It would be nice to have an adjustable Adams, but I don't see it happening. the only company that has been successful in marketing the adjustable head is TaylorMade. Every manufacturer has this type of system available to fitters and stores to help fit the driver or irons properly, though.

Next thing, it may require a PhD in mechanical engineering to be able to operate one of these drivers.....Just make sure you don't slice it.....ooops it is the operator again!
