Gap issue with Pings

I purchased G15 irons this year and put the S58's on stand by thinking that the forgiveness would really be something to behold and that the ball would hit the flagstick everytime due to the forgiveness. :cheesy: That didn't happen!

I had a hard time controlling the dispersion of my G15's which might be attributed to shaft, offset or some other cosmic universe thing. All I know is when I tried to hit my S58's after a couple months with the G15's the results were horrible. After 2 range sessions with the S58's the ball was going where I aimed. I could aim at the flag from 120 yards instead of the middle of the green(minus the sucker placements).

Here's my problem 4, 5 and 6 iron. My cleveland halo 4i goes 210 and my 4 iron goes 195 at best but I'm not comfortable with this club. I'm okay with the 5 iron but if I pull my 4 iron out of the bag my gap is from 210 to 185. Honestly I'm pretty comfortable hitting my 5 and 6 with 3/4 swing but then my distance gap is even worse 5 is consistent 175.

I have DG S300 shafts with a swing weight of D4. Would changing the shafts to a lighter shaft increase my distance?

I do not like the higher lofted hybrids I tried it seems to easy to pop them up. Thinking about trying another brand of GI 4, 5 and 6 to fill the gap. Let me know your thoughts. Since I started playing the longer tee boxes it seems like this problem has started to become a problem. No issues with the closer tee box as I never hit anything more than a 7.
