Toyota Yaris

Hey guys i was wonder anyone here own or drive a toyota yaris?

either a Lift back or sedan. preff a LB

if so how do you like it?

Seems like its still new forum so there isn't much support for it yet.

I wonder how well it fits folding carts and golf clubs/bags..

I'm thinking about getting one, but don't want to put one on order just to find out I can't get a couple of bags in there.

I also hear they have great gas milage.

This was driving a sedan...

Its is incredibly small. You would put clubs in the back seat...Really no trunk.

I have a Nike Ignite 15* 3 wood w/ S300 shaft I am selling. I need a lower lofted 3 wood because I hit this one real high and I am already a high ball hitter so it's not a good fit. I would rate it in the 9.25/9.50 out of 10 condition. I have hit MAYBE 30 balls with it. I am asking $85.00 shipped firm. I do have pics available to send. Email me at TMad300@aol.com if interested.

I was just talking to my friend who's a sales manager at Toyota about something that was good for gas as well as golf. He mentioned the Yaris...but he said for more space and great gas mileage...go for the Scion XB...starts at something like $14,000.

The yaris is the replacement for the toyota echo and its power train is basically the same as the echo and the toyot scion xa and xb. The four door yaris is a little bit bigger than the hatchback. but you will be able to get more golf gear in the XB then you will either of the yari. I am a ASM at the local toyota dealer here in Belair.

The yaris may not have a big engine but, its so light that it can get going. Just not uphill... :cheesy:

Toyota Yaris's are TURD. petrol (or gas as americans call it for some strange reason even though it's a liquid) is so cheap over there that it doesn't matter too much about fuel consumption.

bottom line, buy something better. you can get a good car without breaking the bank.

i say screw good gas mileage, its all about driving a bad a** desert prerunner truck and getting 7 mpg! I am all for the enviroment but the yaris isn't going to help the situation out with the ladies if you aren't married. if you are then its a different story

i recently was in the hunt for a toyota. drove the xB, corolla, yaris and tC. the corolla isnt bad, just very plain. the xB has the yaris motor and is way to underpowered. the tC gets good mileage and is sporty looking with great standard options. needless to say that for the same price as a corolla, the tC has a bigger motor and more options. so im now driving a new tC as a daily driver to substitute for my mustang cobra. i am really happy with the decision.
