Agreed, great pick for TV, but he is a rookie on tour, not just a ryder cup rookie. He hasn't earned enough stripes yet. I'll root my butt off for him if he is picked, but if he doesn't play well Pavin risks being looked at like Lanny Wadkins was when he picked Strange in '95. He is gambling a little more if he picks Fowler over a more experienced tour player.

Bringing a guy in the middle of a swing change doesn't seem wise. Kind of reminds me of Phil changing equipment just before the Ryder Cup. Of course Corey could really open eyes if he paired Phil and Tiger. Should be cheaper to outfit Tiger since they won't have to supply clothes for his wife.

Alot of people over here who like golf all hoped to see RF in the USA team, hes a good player although fairly new, but its his game style. Hes the type of player who is perfect for risk reward golf. I think he will do well and bring entertainment.

I think RF could be the all-star of the Ryder Cup.  Solid picks all around.  The only hesitation I have is for Zach Johnson, only because I don't think his game travels well to Europe. But I'm a fan so I'm glad he's on the team.

Why oh Why would ANYONE pick Stewart Cink for ANYTHING?!?!?!?!?!! He embodies everything that is WRONG with our side... he has NO killer instinct and is happy to be an also-ran. I guarantee that he goes "point-less".

It was a good pick. RF has been playing well the whole year and he'll bring alot of excitement to the matches ie Anthony Kim back in 08. It's going to be that highest rated Ryder Cup amongst the teenie bopper set.

Corey probably made his decision a while back and Hoffman's win over the weekend wasn't enough to push him over the edge.

I'm ok with the picks except for Cink. He was pretty much having a blah year. I think Holmes would have been a better pick. Holmes, Dustin Johnson and Bubba on the same team? Three bombers who have game? That would have been sick!
