I can't even imagine what the pressure-cooker of the Ryder Cup is going to bring. He had better get it together by then or it's going to get ugly.

Maybe he and McIlroy will be paired in singles afterall. The player to break 80 gets the point.

In two days we won't have to hear all the Tiger excuses about how his life was in shambles, blah blah blah. He was a terrible selection for the Ryder Cup and doesn't even care about playing for the USA. I wish he would have had the brass to decline the invite and give the spot to a more deserving player (the choices would have been endless).

Rumors...I heard once that Tiger said that he didn't give a crap about team competition! Give me a break! Why is it that Tiger's issues albeit self-inflicted are just excuses, but Phil, by God his physical issues are not? Neither one of them is lighting up the course and are over par! The way either one of them are playing, I wouldn't put money on us at all in Wales.

I'm not a Tiger fan at all. However, I know how bad it sucks when taking swing changes to the course. It sucks to read so many negatives against the guy...working his butt off!

I watched the post round interview for Tiger and Phil and both seemed happy with their play today. Phil thought he played really great in light of 4 penalty strokes and Tiger thought his ball striking was where he wanted. Phil shot even par and Tiger was +1. Are these guys in denial or what? Is that the mental approach you need to win, just ignore the bad stuff and concentrate on the good?

Talk about two guys that are delusional. Phil and Tiger both think they are playing good, just not scoring. This probably won't work very well at the Ryder Cup. We are playing great but we keep getting beat. Wake up you guys, you are not playing good period.

At least at thet championship we won't have to hear Tiger tell us he is playing good but just not scoring. His latest is he is spending so much time on his full swing he has no time for practicing his short game. Since he is back to using his driver his accuracy is back to el stinko Sean (Hobbit) Foley or not.

i think i'll take ernie's observation of tiger after their 3rd round at the Deutsche Bank Championship over yours
