On other thing, does anyone else think that Blair is really not that pretty? When she is in makeup she looks great but they show alot of closeups during golf and she does does not look the same. Elana and Sara are much better looking in there natural form.
Blair is one of those women who people drool over and I just don't get it. She's not bad looking or anything but she's not all that. Christina is more attractive IMHO.
I know she's not on this one, but I still think Gerina is the best one from BB, she had a decent game too.
Gerina will be playing on the LPGA tour next year with full exempt status thanks to her top five Futures $$ list finish last year. Yep...she can play a little.

I'm sure everyone realizes that the GC puts all these people on the show because of all their wierd attributes, personalitites & other things that are good for ratings. If everyone was just a very good player & there was no drama, no eye candy or no arguments only the real die hards (like most of us on this board) would watch. It's about ratings & appealing to a wider audience. I'm sure most of the stuff that comes out of their mouths is scripted by the GC writers/producers. They edit it for good tv-not necessarily good golf. Now that stuff is out of the way..................Whoever doesn't think Sara is HOT needs to get better glasses! The other girls aren't too shabby either; Blair, christina & psycho Elena (too bad she's nuts because she's hot also). All pretty faces for all of us to watch. Hot girls never hurt ratings! Maybe one day they'll do a BB with just really good golf & no drama. Might be fun for us golf crazies but I'd guarantee the ratings will suck. Enjoy it for what it is............Entertainment!

Man o man you guys who are saying Sara is stupid hot need to get out more, she is definitely has a cute/sexy going on but to go on and say she is stupid hot is a little ridiculous, Elena is the hottest one on the show followed by Blair or they could be tied and Sara and Christina would be tied as well. watch the opening of the show when Elena gets out of the pool, enough said

Elena is dilusional at best, she isn't a bad player but never performed under pressure. She is the drama queen that someone quoted before that got mad because she didn't get what she wanted. Even if the whole team "voted", the vote would have been the same decision, Sara your back! It would have been the same situation if Brian was benched and one of the guys holed out.......Brian would have stopped his feet and cried because the team wouldn't have considered giving him the strike eraser.....even if he is the best ball striker on the range........

There is no reason why Blair couldn't feasible and easily win this Big Break. She flat murders the ball and gets to play from the up tees. She should have won her original Big Break. She didn't play in many benching challenges, but that is smart because if you don't play in them, you don't get strikes and they made plenty of opportunities to get MVP points without being in the benching challenges.

Best quote of the thread........."Lori's swing looks like a cow turning around in a phone booth".....wow now that is comical, orginal and awesome all in one statement. That statement in golf is only second to Tin Cup, "I'm clearing too early, I'm clearing too late, my god my swing feels like an unfolded lawnchair!!"

After posting that.... I kinda feel bad. Lori actually has become somewhat likable as the show has went on. Plus she obviously loves this great game like we all do.

Boy, I hope that the interview dialogue is scripted, because if it isn't, Brian might be one of the biggest tools to ever play golf. Self important, self absorbed and a delusional sense of his own abilities. This guy drives me nuts! "I'm better than everybody on the range"....last I checked the range doesn't matter, do it on the course or shut up. "My team mates want me to do this or that"....are you kidding me buddy? It appears that they are politely tolerating you. Sorry, mini rant over.

I think Sara is on a path to Bingo Wings before our very eyes, hot now, not so much in a few years.
She lost weight after her last show and this one. If Elena lost 15-20 pounds she would be #1 but I think it's Sara, Blair, Christina, Elena

Have you seen Elena getting out of the pool at the beginning?

I'd like to know where you think she can lose 15-20 pounds????

At the beginning of the season I really liked Sara Brown. She seemed like a nice person. But over the past few episodes I have seen some things out of her that I didn't like. After last nights episode I'm starting to think that she's a little brat more and more. Almost everything that she did in the episode showed that when she doesn't get her way she is a very ugly person.

As for whoever said Brian needs to be commentating a PGA Tour event I could NOT agree more! That would be quality tv!!! lol
Great job. Welcome to reality. I caught on to Sara Brown in episode two of Sandals Resorts. Let's see, that would be 20 episodes ago.

I continued to emphasize it, here and elsewhere, in the face of denial and denouncement because I've spent enough years in Las Vegas to be extremely confident in my handicapping. You get to know what 55% looks like, what a 70% scenario is, whether it's odds of maintaining a lead or genuineness among hundreds of parading cocktail waitresses. Sara Brown as a b**** was as close to triple digit certainty as anything since the '72 Dolphins.

The finale is irrelevant, as far as I'm concerned. The matchup with Brian and inevitable posts like yours are what I was looking for, her game exposed and more importantly her personality exposed. Others saw and sensed the same thing, even if stubbornly unwilling to concede. I wrote on many sites she was capable of an alltime Big Break implosion. And I'm sure it was significantly more disgraceful than the producers were willing to display. Sara is receiving the coddled treatment. That's another simple handicap. All season long and in the producers blog there have been unnecessarily flattering comments, like Blake saying you really can't get mad at Sara even if you want to. You always ask yourself, what is a clip like that doing there? Similar in Brian's blog this week, backing Sara. They're determined to protect Sara's reputation, since she may be representing the show. Four separate outfits in the confessionals last night and after the final show are a bit of a hint they interview her plenty. The final program likely will feature unfairly bloated points at stake, tremendous potential to alter the MVP standings. The producers don't care if 1 show carries more weight than 9 combined. They verified that by wiping out the strikes.

I'm impressed so many posters downplayed Brian's mistake. That hasn't been the case on other sites. Sara predictably used harsh terms like "cheating" and "lying" in regard to Brian. Meanwhile, Sara's version was desperately inaccurate and exaggerated. She had Brian extending his hand well off the ground and moving it back and forth on the ground many times. Not even close. He bunched his palm above the ground and then touched outstretched fingers to the ground. Immediately after standing he wiped his hand on the back of his pants. It may not have been ideal, and perhaps technically against the rules, but moving the palm like that, and rubbing the pants, are indicative of trying to dislodge dirt.

Cud chewing Sara Brown was petrified of an embarrassing loss to Brian and described something I'm not even sure she saw. As others posted, she bolted into accusatory frenzy only after being cued from the bench.

And best of all, did anyone else catch her unwarranted arrogance when Brian chose her? Sara replied, "Good luck," in a mocking tone, as if no chance he could beat her.

If I have a chance i may put Brian's domination of Sara on YouTube, a slanted presentation of my own. :D

Lori's swing looks like a cow trying to turn around inside a phone booth.
It is amazing what she gets out of that swing, though.
Why is Lori on the show anyway? She is not real cute, she can play under pressure, and she is not delusional, so there is no entertainment value. Besides, she has already won 7 times on the Duramed tour and is the all time leading money winner on that tour. She has played in a half dozen US Opens and from what I can see, has already reached her potential, given her swing, athletism etc, so a "big break" won't change that. She is the definition of a seasoned "journeyman".

Can't wait to see what Awsi has to say about this episode :cheesy:
Thanks for the vehicle.

I already rambled. This is an excuse for one more; random scribbles:

* This should be renamed Big Break Dallas, dreaming away two months worth of strikes. It was obviously personality driven but a credible format and outcome still needed to be the focus. I don't see that, not when a minimum of 4 or 5 players are zapped in one final show, with 3 gone after 9 episodes.

* Lori and A-Rod are the rightful MVPs, regardless of the free for all next Tuesday. Without their late bail outs, neither team makeup would be the same.

* That being said, Blair deserved more than 10 points for sole survivor minus a strike. That 10 points likely will look insignificant given how many jump ball points will be available next week.

* Sara went from ousted to level footing. Even if she were my favorite, how is that sensible? A revived player should face some form of penalty, whether it's one stroke like previously, or subtraction of MVP points.

* Will we find out if Brian/Elena has legs, or other extremities?

* Brian is the most dependable hilarity on Tuesday nights since Monty Python PBS reruns in the '70s.

* Blair should lose the orange. Hardly flattering, unlike her outfit a week earlier.

* Elena won the bus, as far as I was concerned. I was shocked how well she handled it. Christina apparently received an inflated and slanted story from Blair of Elena's opinion who should play the second challenge. Elena was perfectly well reasoned to Blair, IMO: Christina hadn't played like a damn for 3 shows and all things equal Blair should be the choice, but it was logically Christina's turn. Both teams made the correct pick in letting Brian and Christina finally have a shot at the solo stage, and money.

* The oft available $5000 prize was the most impressive feature of this Big Break, such a chunk for players on that level. I think Lori has a chance to move to second all time in Big Break earnings if she is MVP of a women's victory. Derek Gillespie's $100,000 (plus Waste Management bonuses) from PEI is tops.

* A-Rod improved his standing with me more than anyone else on the show. I couldn't stand him during Mesquite. This time he joked with Brian, and offered varied and interesting comments during brief confessional clips. Apropos swings in emotion, unlike Blake who toned it down too much and didn't get to play often. A-Rod was the one who stood up to Sara's digs and fired back. Too bad he failed to advance during second stage Q School last week, by a few shots. A-Rod didn't have a single bad round, just not any great ones.

Not that my thoughts or opinions really count but I have to chime in.....

Even if Sara packs on 30 lbs in 5-10 years I'd still take her. Imagine 18 holes with her then hitting the beach .....damn

Second....most notable... Brian is delusional about his game. If this guy thinks he can keep up with even a local club pro he's got to be kidding. He missed shot after shot last night....couldn't hit a fairway. And this is against Sara....imagine if he actually was in postion to win even a minor event. I get the feeling most opponents could make him fold like a paper bag after just a few holes.

As for the rest of the players....if these people are thinking of any success on the PGA Tour or LPGA Tour.....I should go get fitted for a green jacket

On the whole Brian testing the surface in the last show. IMO he was testing the surface. Looked down at the green then placed his hand flat on the green. Where did the sand he said wason his hand come from he had not been in a bunker? Right. Maybe the green? As soon as I was him did it I said to my self that he was testing the surface. I would have called him on it. The thing that I thought was crazy was the Rules Officail saying that he talked to Brian and because Brian said he was intentionally testing the surface there would be no penalty! i did not think that it mattered whether you intended to break a rule or not. You break it end of conversation.
