Need some swing weight help

Hi gents. I recently acquired a Nike SQ 5000 Driver with the stock Nike/Diamana Yellow S65 shaft. I always get my drivers cut down to 44". My question is I have noticed that unless i slow my swing down to 50% ish I just hook the ball hard left and the club just feels REALLY lite. This is obviously problematic. My question is I want to add some lead tape to the under side of the driver and was wondering how much lead tape should I add to bring the swing weight back to a reasonable weight to help smooth out my tempo? Anyone?

To aid my OP...I believe the stock shaft in this Nike SQ 5000 was 45.5". So we are talking 1.5" of shaft cut from the top and then I went with a Golf Pride Tour Wrap 2G regular size white grip. Please help club maker gurus, heading to my local Golf Galaxy tonight and I just want to make sure I get enough lead tape. Thanks

You will need around 18 grams of lead tape, have fun and good luck

Thanks Tigermark99! Wow, thats alot of tape...but I guess I can put this on the grey rear extension part that has the 5000 script. Is there a better way to do this? I just want it to be able to feel the head on the back swing to promote a nice smooth tempo.

First, I used alcohol and a cotton round to clean the underside of the driver. Then I added the lead tape. I ended up adding 17.5 grams of tape. I wonder what swing weight it is now? It feels sooo nice at address and in my hands. I bet it will lower the loud sound of this driver as well. Here the pics of this mess LOL.

Wow that's a lot of tape! Don't feel bad I'm playing a fast10 that looks much worse. You might notice the shaft plays a little softer and ballflight might be a touch higher but it will be more accurate. Hit it straight......

So I had the opportunity to hit balls and play a round this morning with the new weighted head. All I can say is WOW! It feels ultra solid and as expected the sound is much more muted now. Where in the past the SQ sounded like an aluminum bat, with the lead tape she sounds alot more like a solid block of steel hitting the ball with out much echo. Its nice. The feel feel is very balanced now and I dont have to feel like I need to swing at 40%. This added weight allows me to take a nice 80% back swing with an aggressive turn and smack the ball. The ball flight did seem to be a little higher than previous but still expectable and predictable. I also had the chance to remove the layer or coating off the tape and here are the latest pictures.
