I found one of the 4 yards more gimick tee's on a tee box at my muni... and its been in my bag for 6 months... they are really good. Its a 2 piece, so if it breaks you just put it back together.

ZF tee are super durable now i use the white ones. I played the last 2 years with the same 4 long tees( lost or gave away two of the four) and 6 little tees( same situation).
ZF makes small tees i use 2 3/4 and 1 3/4 so they make all ranges. I have never had a problem with them going into the ground even last year in myrtle when everything was dry.

I bought some ZF tees at the beginning of 2009 and I still have some left. I have never broken one. Its just attrition over time that has caused them to come up missing...left on cart, left in car, lost somehow, etc. Put one tee in my pocket at the beginning of the round and thats it. I found a broken one the last time I played..about 1 1/2 in..I kept it to use for teeing up irons. I do agree that they are pretty sorry when the ground is hard. Reading here, it sounds like the new ZFs break. Sad to hear because I am close to needing more.

Zero Friction are the worst. I got so sick of using them, I gave well over 100 of them away. It is virtually impossible for me to tee up a ZF on the first tee of a tournament. Once your hands start shaking with nerves, the last thing I needed was reteeing the ball 4 or 5 times with everyone watching.

The wind blows the ball off the tee. The turn of the earth hurls the ball off the tee. God forbid you step too close to your ball while addressing it. It'll be time to retee if you do.

I will pick up some Epochs and give them a try.

Another vote for Martini Tees. A buddy of mine in Kentucky gave my wife and me each one the first week in July and we're stilling playing em'. Ordered a couple of packs off of their website and handed out to friends in the neighborhood and they've been the talk of housing development all year. The oversized cup allows you to lean the shaft of the tee drastically toward the target without the ball falling off. You can push them farther into the ground on par 3's and iron shots don't even faze them. Some kind of durable and come in super brite colors so they're easy to find. Both thumbs up here.

I have used the ZF tees with my FT Tour and have found that they leave marks on the sole that are tough to get out, almost like a scratch.

Here is a good one. I played recently at a local muni and the guy I was paired with used a rubber tee like you would use at at driving range. He had it on a string attached to nail and would put that in the ground a foot or so away. After he would hit his drive the rubber tee would go around in a circle attached to the string. He would then pick it up, take the string and nail out of the ground put it in his pocket and move along. Same thing on the par 3's except with a smaller tee.

I like Epoch also... I still try and find a broken wooden tee on par 3's. Plastic tees are too harsh for my angle of attack.
