Nebraska--Texas A & M

Don't know if anybody watched this, and admittadly I'm a Nebraska fan, but the Texas A & M --Nebraska game tonight was just a joke.

16 penalites on Nebraska compared to two for A & M, and several of them came on big plays that had a huge influence on the outcome of the game.

I know everyone loves the conspiracy theories, but it seems a strange coincidnece that the year Nebraska opts to leave the conference at the end of the year, they consistantly come up on the short end of the flags each and every conference game(some blatant, like this one). Sure seems someone doesn't want the Huskers to win the Big XII.

There's the first of many rants from disgruntled Husker fans.

I saw it. It did seem kind of one sided with the penalties. It was still a pretty good game though. Once Martinez got hurt, I think that was it for the Huskers. The disparity in flags didnt help though. The game could have gone either way on one play since it was pretty evident that no one was going to get it in the end zone. I know one thing...Bo Pelini sure was upset about it! Speaking of that...anyone know why he was yelling at Martinez?

Apparantly they told Martinez to ride the cart into the locker room for x-rays and he insisted on walking. Story is Bo was informing him to follow what he is told to do. Should have been done in private in the locker room though.

A couple more stats in regards to the Big XII and the Huskers:

Most penalized team in the Big 12 is KU, against NU they had 1 penalty. 2nd most penalized team is A&M, against NU, they had 2 penalties. Must be amazing coaching going on there to improve on something they had been doing so bad at all year up until the point they play us (these numbers came from the Husker board).
Also in Nebraska's last three games, their opponents have a total of six penalties called against them.

That would be a fitting way to end the Big XII, with an NU-OU showdown.

And the way the conference season has been going, OU will have two penalities called on them. I know, I know, conspiracy theories abound, but once in a while, where there is smoke there is fire. Just look at those numbers of penalties called on NU's conference opponents and tell me it doesn't cause you to raise an eyebrow.

You're definetly correct, our offense has to be much better, and several of the offensive penalties are very much legit (I don't know about the illegal formations) and are signs of an undisicplined team.
