Playing in Fort Lauderdale 6feb-3march

Anyone wanna join?

Hi guys!

I am going to Fort Lauderdale the 6th of February and I am going to stay until the 3rd of March. I am going to play with a friend the first 10 days and then he is going home to Sweden again. But I think it would be awesome if some of you wanted to join and play some real golf haha.

I have played Coral Ridge Country Club, Bonaventure Country Club, Jacaranda GC and Inverrary Golf club.

Any recommendations?

Plantation Preserve is very close to Jacaranda CC, and well worth your consideration. Colony West in Tamarac is long and challenging. Heron Bay hosted the Honda Classic for a couple of years in the early 2000's.

Loving Hollywood, FL during the winters.

A little bit south and you can play Doral or the Diplomat. Both are very nice courses.

Hillcrest CC in hollywood, Deer Creek in Deerfield Beach, and palm Air Oaks course is nice in the area and not too crowded.

From your list I've only played Jacaranda - east and Inverrary (both courses). Other than Jacaranda my other favorites are Deer Creek and Links at Madison Green (west palm). I've also played one of the Palm Aire courses and although I did not find it too interesting its still a decent value.

Will sent me a PM and he will be staying right next to me basically. I am planning to play with him and have a buddy who I play with. I'm a 6-8 but my friend is ~30. We have a great time regardless how we play. If we can fill out a group of 4 that would be awesome.

Went to the range this past weekend to scope out Plantation and it looks like a very nice track. Still looks brand new thanks to the city taxes! Range was great but short game area was not good unless I missed it. I only saw the bunker near the starter house and no chipping on the practice green.
