Top notch series. Hank earned a major reprieve compliments of Rush.

Rush improved the way Ray Ramano should have. Barkley is a head case so Haney gets a pass on that one.

I think Rush did really improve during this show. Nice final round IMO.

Based on the final show last night It looks to me like Hank drastically improved Rush's game. Shooting an 83 is some pretty good golf compared to where he came from. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the episode last night and how well Rush played. He walked away with a lot of loot from that round.

I was actually pretty impressed with Rush's improvement. He wasn't near as bad off as the other two, but I think he caught on, and had a decent base to work with.

Regardless of the politics, I liked his silly comments, and his attitude was entertaining, because thats what he does for a living.

Haney needed a homer, and he got it on this one, decent way to end the series.

I could watch another season of Barkley. The first season of this show was the best but I still watch.

About 7 or 8 years ago when I first got HD, there was an HD channel on DirecTV that had a variety of programming. Scott Sackett who is a PGA pro (and I think top 100 instructor now) had 3 students of varying ability and problems that he taught over maybe 6 or 7 show series.

I can't recall how good his methods were, but it was certainly an instruction show and very interesting.

I agree, the progress with Rush (glad I didn't have to listen to his political leanings) was better than with Barkley (such a blockhead...can't believe he can't let that club release), or Ramano (which I think is lack of practice time).

But, I wish the series would progress to where Hank is working with someone of higher caliber....someone like Tommy "Two Gloves" Gainey, take someone who's pretty good and smooth out the rough edges, perhaps follow him with Hank working with him on the range at tournies and the how the guy progresses at a tournament with Hank narrating on the sidelines during the tourney....follow his progress through the season, heck they play almost every week.

Or someone from the NW tour that used to be a PGA player, or fledgling newbie NW tour player to help him to get better....that would be enjoyable.

Or heck, start with someone good, but younger, trying to make it through AJGA tournaments (I think that was Hank Haney's original show, but it was on the entire group from his school more than just on one person).

What would make for a better Hank Haney show in this series?
