Traveling to South Africa

Will be there July 31st to Aug 12th

I will be traveling to South Africa from July 31st to August 12th and would like to meet up and play a round/drink a beer with you.

So far this are the areas we are considering:

Sun City/Jo-Berg > July 31st through Aug 2nd
Maleane/Kruger Park > Aug 3rd through Aug 4th
Durban> Aug 5 through Aug 7th
Cape Town > Aug 8 through Aug 12th

Anyone game or reccomend things to do, courses to play?

In my trip I want to play Leopard Creek, Durban Country Club and Sun City but are open to anyting/everything.

Great courses u considering there.

I Cape Town I would probably suggest Pearl Valley and Arabella (although Arabella is an hour's drive out of Cape Town), then again PV is about 45 mins drive too.

Other good Cape Courses would incluce
Erinvale
De Zalze
Steenberg

in that order

All three set in great locations, with stunning views.

Awsome trip, in durban try play Cotswolds Downs golf course (brilliant course) and while it isnt really in durban Gowrie farm golf club, its right next to nottingham road about an hour outside of durban but there is a lot to do in the area itself after the golf has been played, fantastic golf course as well, best fairways I have played on probably ever and the greens are superb as well.

In Johannesburg Glendower and Royal Johannesburg and Kensington East are both great courses. Try play both courses at Sun City.

My trip is now final I am playing the following:

Royal Johannesburg
Leopard Creek
Durban Country Club and Beachwood
Pinnacle Point
Pearl Valley

I wanted to play one more in Cape Town but my wife was kinda against it but I can't get mad at her with the courses I am playing! I wanted to play Sun City but it doesn't work with my schedule as we are spending a couple of nights in Kruger and that is how I am able to play Leopard Creek.

I leave July 31st so I am getting really excited about going...
