Something was brought attention and I did some research and it is true....All the serial numbers match on my Eye2's but the LW was bought later and the serial is different and the LW does not have the square grooves even though it is the original design LW. All the rest of the clubs 3- SW have the square grooves.

Yes they do...All except the LW which I bought after I bought the set.

Just to correct you here, all Ping Eye2's have square grooves. The first non plus models were ruled illegal, so they changed the grooves somewhat to become legal, but all Ping grooves from the Eye2 onwards are square grooved.
