Its probably the shaft change....but

Wanted to tell everyone about my experience with the Adams CB1 and KBS Tour 90 combination. I have been playing Nike Blades for years with stock DGR300 with the belief there was no better iron for me...in fact...that reminds me...I need to change my WRX signature.

Anyway...if you are a forged blade lover....and looking for more forgiveness & higher trajectory on those long irons without losing the soft feel....I highly recommend you try either the CB1 or CB2 with the KBS Tour 90. These things are stupid easy to hit...the cambered sole is money for those not so perfect strikes. Since the shaft feels softer than flex...I am able to play the stiff flex...and my dispersion is much tighter without sacraficing trajectory or distance.

I was able to convince my 13-year old son to try a CB2 in the regular flex at a demo day....same results for him. Easier swing, higher trajectory. Hate to pass on the golf ho gene....but its real rewarding to watch him play better golf.

Seriously....with so many demo days this time of year.....you'd be crazy not to stop by the Adams tent for a quick test drive. And yes...there are golfers less than 40 years old playing Adams clubs!!

I second this. I'm 27 years old with fast clubhead speed(6'2", 235 lbs 34 inch waste-I know, I'm playing the wrong sport, ACL injury), 4-handicap, and have been playing Nike Victory Blades for a year and a half. Nothing bad to say about them at all- great irons with a lot of workability. Anyway, There was an Adams demo day at my practice facility and I hit both the Adams CB1's and CB2's and also the new A12's which don't come out until mid-May. The CB's are exactly as he described- so easy to hit and so straight it's almost like cheating. The one's I hit had the Project X 6.0 shafts. Now the A12's- ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. Only on-the-spot impulse buy I have ever made. Ordered them with the KBS shafts and they're stock from Adams with Golf Pride Decade Multi-Compound grips. My Nikes are now on "the Bay" and I can't wait to get these things. Just as stealthy looking as the CB1's and they somehow hit even better. Adams knew what they were doing with these irons for sure.

I've got 4-7 CB2's and 8-GW CB1's all with KBS Tours and LOVE them. (the heavies, not 90's).

I'm 25 and most of my bag is Adams. I love my CB1's.

I woke up one day recently and the same thing was true for me. CB2s that I just love, 20 and 23 degree Pro Black hybrids, and just recently, an F11 driver. Even with the stock VooDoo shaft, which I expected not to like, it's a great driver for me.

The original Tour Edge Exotics XCG 3 wood that I've had for years is now in danger of being replaced by an F11 3 wood - unbelievably easy to hit high off the deck and land soft at the end of a long, straight flight.

If I'm not careful, the only non-Adams clubs I have will be my two Scratch wedges and Scotty putter.

Based on the quality and suitability for me, I'm just fine with that. Adams has dialed in to some great clubmaking recently.

i bought the V3 forged 7h, 8-GW with graphite shafts and really liked them....since i am not yet into hybrids i wanted to get some matching V3s in 4-7 also but unfortunately these are not being made..

the closest i found were the CB2s so i got the 4-7 iron and reshafted the entire combo set with adams grafalloy pro-launch HL graphite shafts..

so my irons are now CB2s in 4-7 and V3s in 8-GW but with matching shafts....and i couldn't be happier..

I just bought the CB1 with the project X 6.0 flighted shaft and hoping to get them in a couple days.
When I was in Las Vegas I try them out and loved them but I live in the netherlands so I couldn't find them here.
I am playing now with the MP62 with project X 5.5 shaft.
Cant wait when they arrive.

Adams from a4 on way up made some awesome irons it's the only sole grind that cambered sole that I hit well everything else just digs too much
