How can I get on the TPC Boston???

Anyone play the TPC Boston course in Norton? Dying to try it out and was wondering if anyone had some inside info as to how I can get on it?

Easiest would be find a member. May be a few on here or there are some corporate outings

call in as a prospect. they'll give u a complimentary round with a buddy. easiest way. not the most honest but easiest

It's a decent course, but nothing to kill yourself to try to get on. Sorry I don't have any suggestions how to get on. I played it with some business clients.

im with dliver on this one. way overrated course imo and nothing to write home about.

another way to get on is to find out if any places are auctioning off rounds of golf. this is typically done at charity events so you may want to look into that as well.

Overrated by who? The course has never appeared on any course ranking lists that I can think of from Golf Digest or Golfweek. I don't believe it has ever even cracked top 10 private courses in the state. If you mean it is overrated becuase of the Tour event being played there, I understand where you are coming from. I mentioned this on another thread, but they play the event there because it is a world class facility capable of holding a pro golf tournament, which means a lot of things, both logistically and course caliber wise. There are other places closer to my home that I would rather be a member at for sure, but when you factor in the deals they have for young members coupled with Tour level course maintenance and facilities, Gil Hanse redesign, and a membership that hardly ever plays golf, I love it.

I think if you vollunteer for the DB championship for a couple of shifts, you get to play it in the offseason ( free) on a certain day. Otherwise ea sports Tiger Woods 2010 has it

I have to agree the the posters above, it is nothing to write home about!! Both of the TPC courses in New England are boring ! TPC River Highlands at one time was a cheap daily fee. I think the practice facilities at both places are better than the courses.

Infernomachine is correct , in that it is not the most honest way, but call up as a prospective member. Private clubs will do anything to get members in this economy.
