I played here a couple of years ago, thought it was a great value. Good layout and it was in nice shape, around $60 which is good.

Hi MAPster I,ve played there twice in a couple state police tourneys.Not overly long but I,d say pretty nice layout.It,s got ur normal up and down from being around the berkshire area.couple nice par fives,not to punishing as far as rough or off line shots.There is a really long par three that is at best 2 clubs more than yardage indicates.I would play the track again

Have played here a handful of times. It's a sister course to Wachusett CC. Always in great shape. More of a modern layout with holes spread out. Decent size fairways and greens, but also challenging layout. Great value for it's price.

Fun course, some good things going on. Better value and MUCH more fun to play than Cyprian. Not as good as Blackstone but much cheaper. Conditions have been good the 5 times I've played. Once or twice really nice and firm greens.

I'd call ahead as I got caught behind a league once that made 9 holes in ~3 hrs. Other than that, very enjoyable place.

I played it a couple of years ago and it was pretty nice and in good condition. The price wasn't too bad either. Hopefully get back out there again this year.

As the previous posters have stated: This a modern NE "Brian Silva Design".
It is spread out with wide fairways and large greens.
GREENS: Play half the break you think you see.
Has a quite a varying degree of holes from straight-forward to interesting to tough.
Par 3's: Two are killer (# 12 and # 17); # 6 has a green that is close to 40 paces and depending on pin location can be a 3 club difference; # 8 is pretty straight forward although one of the tougher greens to read.
Par 4's: Most are pretty straight foward; couple noteables: #9: Long - from the tips (490 YDS with an uphill tee shot and OB on the right) #10: has a double-fairway; #13 is drivable; #16 (tough green with a right to left slope): #18 Great tough finishing hole.
Par 5's: # 2 is very difficult to get there in 2. # 7 is reachable with a good drive; # 11 is reachable with a fun bowl green); # 14 is a fun hole that is also reachable with a good drive but the approach is tight with a close tree-line.

Conditions: Conditions are always nice with Tees and fairways and rough always nice. the greens are kept nice as well with medium to medium-fast pace. (Typically holes 2-5 are cart path only and very wet. even in July/August).
No GPS however it has been marked and they have a pin zone on the scorecard (telling you the pin is in (front/middle/back).

Practice Area: Only a putting green that is pretty large and comparable to the actual greens.

Clubhouse: Not a big selection of items although the basic needs are there: balls, tees, gloves, etc.
19th Hole: Haven't spent a ton of time here, but it is very nice with a porch overlooking the 18th green. (There is also a half-way house that is near the Putting Green, 1st/10th & 12th Tees and 9th and 11th Greens). This area can be noisy for those teeing off of #1 and #12 (where you need some serious concentration seeing its a 190 Par 3 that is ALL CARRY so a narrow green).

STAFF: Nice people who are there to serve.

Location: Up near the Worcester Airport and near Hot Dog Annies, not difficult to get to but not easy either.

Pace of Play: Outside of the first 6/7 holes, have never really seen a ranger helping out (but the coures is really right in front of you) The pace can vary, but it usually provides for a round under 4.5 Hours. Typical for a weekend.

Value: At a cost of $60 on weekends (including the mandatory cart), it's a great value.

Other comments: As they should be, they are sticklers for being on-time, calling to cancel or dropping players if that needed. Being higher and in the sticks, early and later in the season, the FROST tends to stick around longer creating some delays.
