Inconsistent Driving

help me out pleaseeee!

Alright guys, I finally got a chance to take a few videos while I was at the range last night.

I think I have finally figured out what I am doing wrong but need some help as far as drills and what not to make it happen less or stop all together. I know I have somewhat collapsed through my swing as I release and I feel like it is just a lazy swing. I have been hitting my irons fine but can't seem to be very consistent with the driver. Anyways, I have been tossing the idea of going to get a lesson at some point for some help but I figured I would post here first. Thanks in advance for any advice and its been awesome trolling the forums the past two weeks. Great community here.

You sway load going back,going high on the hip with your weight more towards your left foot than the right foot.The resulting lack of coil puts you into a poor position for the downswing,even though you do recover somewhat at impact.

Suggestions
you need to create angles in your setup
You need to understand what a proper coil is

You create angles by kicking your right knee down and in towards the left.This will place weight on the inside of your right foot,brace your right knee and tilt your right hip(right hip lower than the left hip).the shoulders should also be tilted in a similar fashion to your hips.This shoulder and hip tilt will make it much easier for you to windup going back .The tilt is about 8 degrees ,so do not overdue it.The brace of the right knee must be maintained all the way to the top of your backswing,even though the right leg may straighten a bit.This brace will also help create elastic tension in your inner right thigh and left lat

to make the correct coil start turning your right shoulder/hip behind you (away from your target line) on your takeaway

drills

take the correct setup.Place your hands on opposite shoulders and turn your shoulders until they are in line with your right foot
Towel drill
tie a beach towel around the clubhead of an iron.make 1/2 swings at 1/2 speed.The weight and drag of the towel will force you to start your swing by turning your right shoulder/hip .the drag from the towel will also force you to pivot better on the downswing.

Russc thanks for the tips...much appreciated....

spent tuesday and thursday at the range working on my typical irons/wedges and then spent a chunk of time with my driver and 3w....with your advice about the knee being braced and having a little more weight on my back foot along with a smoother take away. I also tried to keep my lower body a lot quieter and removing the massive sway I have. The last thing I tried to work on was feeling the pressure from the grip on my pressure point on my index finger which helped me feel what lag I was missing....

Results.... pretty much every drive was a high draw 280 - 290 with a couple blocks and a duck hook or two in there when i lost my tempo...

I will try and get some videos when I am out there next....
