910D3 VS. FT Tour

Which one do you think is better?

Hi all,

I've been playing the 9015D for the last three years and would like to upgrade. I have narrowed down my choices between these two drivers based on everyone's comments on here. Let me know which you like better and why? I am leaning towards the 910D3 just because of the adjustable face, but I don't have any brand loyalty towards any particular brand.

I have owned both of these drivers. For me the winner was the FT Tour. I hit it longer and straighter. Just fit my swing better they are both great drivers. You can pick up a FT Tour for about half the cost of the 910d3.

I just bought a 910 D3 about a month ago and feel its prolly the best club purchase I've ever made. The shaft options alone sold me on the Titleist. I would suggest trying them out if you can.....

I think both are very good drivers, a bit different feel but similar results for me at least.

I went through the same thing. Ended up with a FT tour with KaiLi 60s from CPO. I love the composite head sound of the Callaway, and yeah, it's REALLY long with the deep face and the minimal side spin. I think it's more forgiving then then 910D3, and the shaft upgrade fits me really well. But, that's me. my buddy's been KILLING his D3 and can't hit my callaway and we have the same shaft in both drive. It's a personal preference thing, really.

Own them both, and the FT Tour is in the bag. Downwind I hit the D3 longer. Sidewind and into the wind the Ft Tour wins everytime.

Adjustability goes to the D3 and its long. The Ft tour is longer and has less spin with lower launch. Both are about equal w/forgiveness, ft more helpful on the toe and the D3 better on low face shots. I like the FT even at the exact same price

I played last year and still have an FT Tour and really love the club. I have not found the best shaft yet (for my swing) but it is a monster with the stock VS6. Six weeks ago I bought a 910 D3 with a RIP 60s and immediately started hitting as long and as accurate as the FT Tour. The RIP is a little bit too low launch for me (I have never done well with any Aldila shaft.) so I have a GD DI-6 on order. Sound and feel at impact is different but both clubs are better than most drivers I've tried. Overall they perform pretty close together for me. I prefer the FT Tour's smaller head but I prefer the 910's adjustability. Currently the 910 is my gamer.

the ft tour is great when hit solid. My misses were bad with it though. I now play the 910d3. much more forgiving. distance is about the same.

if you play in the wind - ft tour is the hands down winner. one of the only drivers i have owned where i could step up and unload on a drive and have the wind be a non factor.

i own and 910d3 right now and love it - no complaints.

Could have been a shaft combination for me, but I hit the FT Tour with Voodoo with way more spin than my current 910D3 with Project X 7B3 in it. I have only had a couple weeks with the D3 and its has been great thus far.

Have both currently. I am trying to get my 910 D3 9.5 73s WB to play like my FT Tour 8.5 Ozik Xcon 6 tipped 0.5. I wanted a little bit of a closed face and the ability to adjust lofts. The ball flight of my FT Tour gets up pretty quick doesn't balloon with a nice boring flight. Like most, I feel when I really hit the FT tour on the button, there is nothing like it. With the 910 D3 I was hitting more fairways, but felt 15-20 yd loss. Flight started low and ballooned on the last 1/2 of the flight and dropped. The face of the 910 doesn't feel as hot as the FT Tour. Other Wrx'ers have said they have noticed up to 500 rpm backspin comparing a 8.5 D3 head to a 9.5 D3 head.

I have 4 FT tours currently....and have hit the 910's extensively in the Launch monitor and keep falling back to my FT tour's. They just inspire with that classic head shape and nice muted sound at impact. The 910 is a great club as well, just couldnt knock my FT tour(s) out the bag.

you like the 910, you think the 910 is great but FT Tour is a little better, but the FT Tour blows away the 910...i'm confused lol

I had a Superdeep but had to take it out of the bag because it wasn't forgiving enough. How forgiving is the FT tour compared to the Superdeep?

Owned them both and really tried to like the FT Tour because it felt so good, just couldn't hit it consistent or straight. 910 D3 is as long and way easier to hit the fairway. Plus, you can adjust the lie and loft to suit your swing. Trying different shafts is a breeze. Hands down 910 is the better choice.

Had both with RIP Shafts. 910 was much farther for me than the Ft- Tour, also had a tighter dispersion.

Owned both and gotta give my vote to the D3, I just wasn't consistent with the FT and the adjustability of the Titty allows you to really dial her in...BB
