I walk or ride depending on the group and the course. I called Dauphin Highlands, and they said they're completely booked for Thursday. Anyone have any other suggestions? How did The Links at Hershey look last week?

I could do either of those. I haven't played the Links since it was Wren Dale a number of years ago. And I've never played Royal Oaks, so both would be interesting.

Had a great time today at Royal Oaks . . . thanks for setting it up, bp29! The course was *crazy* wet in some areas, but mostly still playable. I'd love to play it again when it's dry.

Dauphin Highlands is my favorite course. (I am in York, PA). If you are new to the area you should try to get there before the winter.<br>

Hey Guys, I wanted to give you heads up. We most ikely will have a spot avialable in our foursome this coming Sunday at Hershey CC. We are playing the Links in the morning and East course in the afternoon.

I will know for sure hopefully by tomorrow if our 4th is out. If so the spots up for grabs. You could PM me for details. Green fees are taken care of, all we ask is you be a good egg to play with

Harrisburg Guys....As I posted earlier we are coming up to your wonderful area this weekend for golf at the Hershey Resort. I posted earlier that we have a 4th spot avaialbe for the Links in the morning and the East in the afternoon, and we still do.

In addition we are going to play on Monday since it's a holiday for some of us, at Dauphine Highlands. I haven't made the time yet but we are looking at around 9:00 AM. There would be two spots available there if anyone can make it.

Wish I could join you Sunday and/or Monday . . . schedule is just too full at this point. Looks like we'll finally have a stretch of a few days where we'll have some sun, so maybe it'll dry out enough to be fun while you're up here .

So I found out last night Dauphine has a group outing on Monday morning, so it's out.

What would be the next best suggestion in that area? We may decide to try one of the Hershey courses again. I saw a site for Colonial Country Club that looks pretty nice and it says they take some outside play, what's it like.

Also I have never played The Bridges and understand it's pretty nice, I know it's not in Harrisburg, but it would be kind of on our way back to Maryland.

We still hve the fourth open for Sunday as well.

the bridges is pretty nice, last few times i have been there have been green conditioning and i can imagine their course probably got hit hard during the flooding.

i'm sorry to say it got cancelled at the last minute. I ended up in the ER on Saturday, I offered to give the certificates to the other two and have them find someone else, but they said no, we would just reschedule.

i was real bummed to miss out on a perfect weekend weather wise. I was really looking forward to seeing the resort and the area.

Also my regrets to BP29 for having to cancel Monday. We'll do it again another time. We will reschedule the trip for 2012 when the weather turns nice and the West course will be open by then.
