My bag has a putter well in the front, so the Scotty sits up there. No worries, it's well protected.

I try to get at least 36 holes in on Saturday and Sunday, and go for 54 when I'm feeling it.

A little update

I picked up a R9 9.5 with Motore Stiff Shaft and my R9 10.5 will be a backup.

My R9 SuperDeep TP will be in the BST soon.

The VR Pro Blade 3 iron was acting up so I picked up a new 3 iron.

Nike VR Split Cavity with DGS300 and Tour velvet grip.

I love my Vr Pro's. I also have a set of Split Cavs/TW Blades. I have to say I personally think between the two I prefer the TW's, but that's just me. The split cavs are some sweet irons as well.

I've always wanted a full set of the split cavs (almost bought a mint set for $300 last week), but since I wasn't hitting my 3 iron blade I got the split 3 iron. I couldn't believe how easy it was to hit. I even started hitting off the tee instead of my 2 hybrid. Now I wish I would have purchases the Split Cav set as a backup.

Nice blades. Never used anything by Nike before but those babies look the part. Think I may be trying to demo them soon. Will they knock my 58,s outta bag though?

Great bag, fantastic clubs and the putter is really awesome.
One question though, how come your woods have R flex shafts when your irons have DGS300s?
I see you picked up an R9 with a stiff shaft, but isn't the R flex in the woods a little weak for you? Just out of curiosity...

For me, it was between the Nike VR Blades, Titleist 710 MB, and the Mizzy MP63's. The Nike's just flat out performed and my numbers were much better with them over the competition.

I have found that with stiff flex in irons and regular flex for my woods I have the best accuracy and the distance is there. It doesn't make sense, but it works for me.

I also just got a R9 3 wood in stiff flex that I'll be trying out. But if it goes anything like with the drivers I'll go back to regular flex.

I got package in the mail today. I thought my bag as set for 2011 and 2012, but I've been getting new clubs each week. Club hoing it up.

Nike VR Pro 18 degree 2 hybrid with Project X 5.5 shaft. I like a regular flex shaft for my hybrids.

I've played around with different shafts and I just like the way the regular shaft feels and plays for my driver. I just got a new R9 3W with a stiff shaft. The 07 burner in regular is just to whippy for me and I've been dealing with it for the entire season.

I agree with the pics but whats wrong with blades @ 7.3? I can hardly shoot out of the 90s yet I hit my buddys Vr TW blades better than my own chunky mx-200's. I was half tempted to get the mp-69 but I chilled out and now find myself stuck between the ping s56 & mizuno mp-63.

that is a clean looking scotty, straight business no nonsense, love it. are you the original owner of that scotty? I was thinking of finding a used one for cheap to send to the custom shop, did they mill the face again for you? It would be sweet if they made a newport 2 without a sightline but I dont believe thats possible.

How do you find that bag? Do you play in a cart a lot? The configuration is reversed so if you were to place a bag on a pull cart the woods are on the bottom.
