Who here is completely satisfied with their set

but dissapointed as the season is almost over

I have experimented all season with different drivers/shafts combo etc, etc... & finally I have changed almost everything & here's why. Here is a list of what I just had & what I switched over to.

Ping K15 9.5* with Oban Revenge: Real nice but it looked so huge & I didn't care for the trajectory
Now have TM R11 with Bassara Hawk 43 UL shaft white golf pride grip: Loving the lower ball flight & decent distance. I also like how easy it is to dial the settings to your desire.

K15 3 wood nice & straight but it would occasionally balloon on me from the T
G 20 3 wood with tour shaft, straight added distance with lower ball flight

5W & 7W are K 15's. Nothing to change here both very easy to hit & straight. Leaving Adams Hy-birds for woods.

Biggest change after 10 years playing Pings, Zings, G-series Rapture V2 as I will not ever knock Pings. I was just due for a change so I went with something with less off set & thinner & just as forgiving with the perfect ball flight, no ballooning. The newest addition is the R11 with Motore graphite 1* flat lie with Hero Winn lite firm grips 5-PW as talk about performance. Loving everything about them.

Wedges were the never anything I thought about changing as when something works stick with it. Well after almost 3 years the wear & tear started to show it's effect & I decided to go with the black Cleveland CG 16's as there really isn't one wedge better than the other as there are so many good ones. I like the looks & the Laser milled design which I've been told will out last most other wedge grooves.

Putter's Wow Scotty Kombi S not bad except for the glare, Laguna 1.5 too much toe hang. Newport 2.6 one of the nicer putters, TM Ghost Spider CS easy to align but not much feel on distance putts. And the winner is The Never Compromise Gambler Royal as there is no difference with these or the Scotty Newport's in feel but I just love the cool looking stamping & head cover. Scotty might have a better trade in value but no difference in performance. I just like the bling, not something you see that often on a putter.

Now that I have been playing some of the best golf ever for my age as I have had 2 rounds of 18 with out a bogie which is for me the most remarkable accomplishment in my golfing experience. Came close to a hole in one but never had one. To me a bogie free round is more of a big deal as now what is disappointing is the season is soon coming to an end here in Ohio. How sad. Had a great time this year & I hope everyone else has & can share some of their excitement. Not sure if I can send a picture but I will try.

Nice bag! I'm happy with my setup too and don't plan on changing anything for a while.
Our off season is the summer and "golf season" starts around October here. The bad news is that greens fees double or triple in the fall/winter.

I've had the same setup all season except for changing the driver and 3 wood shafts and adding a Shotmaker insert to both. I've hung around +2 all year through 112 rounds.

I'm not changing a thing, I've even stopped looking in the classifieds as what I currently play is perfect for me:

Ping K15 12* driver, K15 3 and 5 woods

Ping G10 4-LW
or
Ping I15 4-PW with Ping Tour W 52, 56 and 60

I have them setup in separate bags, G10's when I walk and I15's when I ride. I can't imagine anything better nor do I wish to. Handicap has fallen all summer from an 8 to a 5.

Don't bother to look. Very Happy. May check out a G20 Driver at Ping Demo day, but it will have to really outperform the G15. BIg change overnight in Virginia. High may be 65 today. Fall is in the air.

Only thing I changed this year was the 3 wood, moved from the Burner Tour to the TEE CB2. Everything else has been exactly the same for the last 1.5+ years so I am happy with that. Actually looking at some different drivers and just picked up some different wedges so excited to get the bag set this fall and have everything ready for next spring. Hoping to have the first season that I don't make any equipment changes next year.
