that low chip/pitch he made over a blind hill to the green toward end of round was really great. The ball checked up so nicely, He had some stuff on it, the trojectory seemed unusual choice, would have thought a softer landing closer to pin would have been called for, but this time, he picked right shot.

His putting was great, and leading Luke D in 3 foot puts overall, impressive.

That said, the guy needs some structure to his game. That whiffing does not belong in professional golf, period. I say you come at or around the ball with full speed swing, it should be charged as stroke.

Some has enough common sense as any authentic tour player won't confront with Kevin Na's check swing on 15th tee, but some just want to rant for nothing like non-sense 2 glove redneck player form nowhere.

Na has been widely know for some time as a guy with lots of excuses, stubborn, and a caddie basher. Not an easy guy to like. He does have a hell of a short game.

i don't know if its been addressed in this thread yet, but he brought up the issue about "blaming" his caddy on saturday. the cameras only got the back half of the conversation. what he was saying was that he head missed his read by 3 ft and his caddy, kenny, missed the read by 2.5 ft. so, in actuality he was actually admitting that his read was the wrong one. funny what a little camera editing can do.

also, i thought it was pretty classless how some of the tv announcers were getting on his case. yes, its a known fact that he is a slow player, but you could hear them snickering in the background and took any chance they could to take stabs at him.

for all you guys that hate on him, if you've only ever seen him on tv and the way the media portrays him, then you're making judgements with too little information. go to a tour event and watch how the "big names" act when they're not in contention. before bubba's first win he used to whine constantly and im sure he still does.

i've had the pleasure of meeting kevin in person and this here's an example of how nice of a guy he is. i go to the northern trust open to follow him, and while following him i refrained from calling him over, because he's playing for a ton of money, and im just there to watch. however, after his tee shot, he spots me, walks over to me, gives me a fist bump then takes the time to ask me how im doing and how my family is doing. you ever seen any players do that?
