Have hit both and I'd go with the Yonex just felt a bit softer at impact also prefered the look at address. They are forged in Kyoei always top notch production out of there...

I have to admit there probably isn't a sexier blade than the Royal Collection's. They really have a nice camber on a very thin sole. It was interesting to note that originally RC advertised ENDO Forged S25C now they state S20C forged soft steel I wasn't sure if they change production on these...

How do the Yonex EZone mb's compare with the SBB1 Tour United blades? I understand that the leading edge on these are somewhat sharper than the yonex EZone blades.

I have hit the RC Tour VS Forged Iron and it felt really good.
I was hitting it inside, but I liked the feel of it.
Haven't hit the Yonex irons.

I recently had a set of Yonex MB's built for me 3-PW, 52, 58. I think they feel very solid, but they still have a crisp at impact. I wouldn't say they are as buttery soft as many of the sets of Mizunos I've had, in particular the 14's and 60's. But they feel great and look great. I think some of the feel is because the PX shafts ended up at 6.2 which is a little stiffer than I like (they were 5.5's). And all of my Mizunos have always been DGS300's which tend to feel a little smoother and softer, at least to me.
Still great irons...

I have a combo Yonex Ezone set, with the 7-PW being Ezone blades (with the Nippon GH950 stiff shafts). Very soft and I rate them right up there with Epon and Miura forged blades in terms of performance, feel and look!

What yonex's do you have? The Ryo pro models that come in 4-P with S200s or the 3-P?
If it's the pro model you're looking at, they're great. Just not a big fan of S200. In my opinion RCs are a big easier to play but both are very high end blades. RC wins just because they're really really stunning. Maybe the most beautiful blade on the market.

I own and play a set of RC forged blades and there is not a better looking blade out there. They are sick. Have them dialed in with some Modus 3 in X. As with any, you better be swinging well. Outstanding quality. Can't tell you how happy I am to be able to play with these awesome works of craftsmanship. Just not well known. Otherwise, you would see a lot more of these in play. Worth every penny.

I switched to RC's a couple of months ago after a season with the Yonex Ryo's. Both are great and beautiful. very little playability difference. I might give Yonex a slight edge.

wow.. its splitting hairs here really.
i played my yonex yesterday,on a lovely day and i cant see anything being better than these, really.
there lots or sets damn close out here but one better than the other ... nah
allmy irons are beautiful , depending if iwant to hit super soft, or a bit clicky
if u want to hit the softest pure blades imaginable.

hit srixon pro 100, epon af tour , or the fourteen tb1000
these are really noticeably soft.

i have, in my little collection, miuraism, srixon, yonex, kyoei,tourwtage 901-905-xblade, sakamoto, epon af -tours yururi flatback blah blah blah..
the srixons are my most treasured irons.
so much so i bought 5 sets of them, with differnt shafts.
the yonex 2 sets one soft and maliable NS ora STIFF and the others monacco for windy puff puff days on the links.

the yonex i play the best.
jee they are good irons.Ryo was onto something here when he got his paws on these babies.
actualy thinking about it

i wouldnt swap my yonex or srixons for anything else
id swap the rest.

The RC's are really nice blades. They look great at address and their isn't anything you can't do with them playability wise. Great addition to the fw's and hybrids.

I switched from 710MBs to RC C forged blades with pured Modus3 stiff shafts about a month or two ago and LOVE THEM. Probably more the shaft, but I cut my spin and gained a lot of distance (from 180 to 205 yds with 5 iron) - that's a lot.

Can't say enough good things about the quality of the RC blades. Finish is immaculate, blade is simple, no offset to speak of, amazing feel, narrow sole and topline, and "the best" sole grind I've ever seen - great for my digger swing pattern with blunted leading edge, heal and trailing edge relief.

Love the RC's!!! Just amazing

Haven't hit the RC blades, but if they feel anything like the Tour VS...own and love those!
