Got mmy new cb2's

Got the CB2's yesterday that I had been thinking about. Came down to the CB1 or CB2. After hitting both they performed similarly. Granted I only hit a couple dozen balls with each. I like that the cb2 seemed to have less offset in the scoring irons than the cb1. I got the cb2 with dg300's as I didnt like the weight of the kbs tours. I played 18 holes today and I cannot believe what I have been missing out on in the last couple of years in the iron deparment. I have been playing macgregor mt pro blades for a few years and mp 33's before that. Loved both sets and they felt like butter. The new adams irons still feel like butter, but the great thing is they still feel and play like butter on swings that are just less than butter!!!!!!!!!!! I now can see why there are som many tour pro's that are playing forged cavities.

Nice, I'm jealous. I'm still sporting my Adams Pro Gold set. The CB2 almost had me close to upgrading. Get a good deal? I've been seeing them on clearance.

I've been telling people they need to give the Adams player irons a shot. They're really good and understated. I ditched on a nice set of forged Mizuno's at the time I bought the Pro Gold's. People just can't believe the fact that the Adam's actually felt better.

I have both sets now. Due to my swing (picker) the narrow sole of the Idea Pros work for my swing better than the CB2 does. Don't know if you would have an issue as such but it's something to consider.

I'd love to hear what kind of deal you got on them, have been looking at these and by ALL the reviews I think I would have nothing to lose by getting a set!

I picked up demo set that were in good shape I would rate them a 9/10 for $400. They had them listed at 499 but I talked them down. They are sweet. I went with DGS300 shaft as I am a high ball player and was worried about the KBS tour shaft. I am a scratch player and the CB2 is a great mix of feel, playability, and forgiveness. Some are not fan of the progressive offset but I really like it.

I looked at the CB2 but the Pro A12 felt better and didnt produce such high flight with the KBS Tour compared to the CB2 w/KBS tour 90 shaft. I scored an almost new set off Ebay for $375. The feel is outstanding, very good forgiveness, and they look beautiful. I am happily suprised by these Adams irons. I was going to order a set of new AP2 712's but am now a happy camper with the A12.
