After playing the new clubs now for numerous rounds I thought I would post an update. Still love the clubs. The biggest thing that has surprised me is the versatility of the clubs. They are the longest clubs that I have played. My 150 club is now a pitching wedge where before it was at least a full nine iron. I played a par three last night where throughout the season I have been hitting 85 percent 7 irons or very full 8 irons. Last night I pulled nine iron and just took a normal full swing and pin high both times.

 

Now I know distance with irons is not a huge deal, but for me this is big as it will effectively shorten courses. Hitting 8 iron from 180 instead of 6 iron is alot easier. I couldnt be more pleased with the distance of these irons. Not only that the distance control is also very good. They dont have what I call flyer distance like some other GI irons.

 

I was worried that with added distance especially with the wedge that I would struggle from 135 to 145 yard range but hitting little PW shots from those distances has proved very effective and easy to control with these clubs.

 

I just wish I would of had these clubs in the bag for the last year and a half.

I hit these the other day at the pro shop and I really like them. I wouldn't say it had an extremely soft feel, but the ball came off the face very nice every time I swung. If I didn't just pick up some 800 pros for a steal, I would definitely demo these. Awesome clubs. Bada$$ looking too. How is that finish holding up?
