Titleist Support

LOL why? My feelings aren't hurt I just find it funny that people come to an online forum and then get mad when someone disagrees with their point of view. I don't sugar coat and some people don't like it. In this thread the OP sounded pretty genuine but at the end of the day he said he would have had the tips pulled even if he had known the warranty would be void so I'm not sure why he's upset that he didn't do the research before pulling them. I destroyed a tip and was in the same boat except I wasn't overly dramatic and acted like Titleist didn't care about me because they wouldn't replace or give me an opportunity to purchase a tip. I blame this partly on Sellingers for not telling the OP that he would be voiding his warranty (especially if they're an authorized retailer) because they would know that Titleist doesn't replace them and should have warned him as such. Also, part on himself for not researching to see what would happen had the tips failed.

If Titleist is not willing to work with you so you can continue to use their product I would suggest selling the head on ebay and move to another driver. Simple fix. On a side note the miyazaki shafts are amazing.

The thing that is catching my eye in this thread is the reason I went back to a glued head. Nobody adjusts the head once they get it set. The best part of the adjustable head is indeed the shaft tinkering.

And I use cally so I haz a sad with all the hate...

Well, at the end of the day, the swelling in my glowing red arse is finally subsiding. It seems that after reading all the posts that it is pretty evenly divided, not that it matters any longer. I'll deal with my mistake and hopefully learn from it in the future. Everyone has a right to their own opinion, whether they work for or otherwise support Titleist or not. If you read my original post, my bag(s) are full of Titleist equipment. Whether that continues to be the case in the future is neither here nor there.

In moving forward, I wish everyone who responded the best. Time to put the hate to rest.
