Yonex Zero iron?

has anybody hit it?

Came across the yonex zero driving iron/hybrid on the net and was wondering if anyone has hit it?

Looks awesome! but the price seems excessively high to put it nicely. Also if anyone has recommendations of a good driving iron with a loft of about 18 I would love to hear about it.

Just picked up a 20 degree one this week, awesome club, penetrating flight, great feel and looks sick!! I am sold. Looking for a 22 degree one now!! Although as rare as these are I'm not sure I'll find another one for only £99 GBP!!!!
Grab one while you can, you will not be disappointed!!

Here is a way cheaper alternative, I just finished this build last Sunday and it is my new favorite club in the bag. B'stone J33 Airmuscle 2 iron 19* ($30 on ebay) w Project X HD2 ($40 shipped from classifieds). Hollow forged head feels like butter everytime and the shaft keeps it nice and boring. Can hit stingers or mid high lazers. It's friggin awesome, a couple pro shop buds want me to build them 1 now too.

I might look into a bridgestone, the price is definately right. Really liked the looks of the yonex but I might just keep an eye out for a cheaper second hand one.
Definately in need of a change from my hybrid... love my 3 iron though!

Zero is ok. But its quite offset at address. Personally think that the airmuscle, and mp fli his are better options,or at least equal options, at a much lower cost.

I found a mint Mizuno MP33 2-iron on ebay for 40 bucks, so I snagged it and had it bent 1* strong to 18* and have been using that in place of my 5-wood, gotta say I love it, so easy to hit low and a great club for short par 4's. I can carry it ~215 with ease and get another 20 yards of roll out of it pretty easily.

I game the 2 and 3 irons in the Airmuscles. Both with the stock NV 85S Hybrid shafts. I love the transition from my irons to these, it's almost cheating.

After more time with this club it just gets better and better, thinking of reshafting with a dynamic gold s300 though as the shaft is too light for me, I think that will only make it better!! As for people saying that the mizuno is the same I am guessing these people have not hit the Yonex, I can honestly say having hit both that there is no comparison!! The Yonex is heads and shoulders above the mizzy! Now the Bridgestone I cannot comment on, but it would have to go some to be as good as this!

Suggestion out of left field.

Wilson Di11 3 iron. 18 degrees. (2 iron in old money!) Super easy to hit. Fantastic fairway finder. Thrown out the hybrids.

Can be had for £50.

I made a thread about a similar idea with a Rocketballz 17.5* 3-iron, the face is also probably a bit hotter than the Wilson.
