Discussion about the show

Who else is psyched for this nights episode? I'm excited to see Shane and Rick fight, as I believe that they will have to team up shorty after to fight off potential walkers. What are your thoughts?

I've got it started on the tivo. I usually wait 30 minutes to start watching since it seems AMC loves to load it down with commercials.

I'll admit that season 1 was awesome, the first half of season 2 pretty much was awful, and the first few episodes of the second half of season 2 have been good. I'm a little annoyed at the cliched crap like Lori's car accident, but it's good nonetheless. I think they know they need to step it up a notch to not alienate a lot of viewers...... you can mail it in on occasion but not 4 or 5 episodes in a row.

I actually keep meaning to start getting into the comic book. I've read some wiki synopsis stuff and it seems pretty crazy...... but the show did not follow it

It was a decent episode..... Once again the idiots make terrible decisions though. I just hope I'll have a bit more sense if I somehow survive the zombie apocalypse. On the down side though, it looks like at least the next episode, maybe all 3 left will revolve around whether or not to kill that guy.

agreed, while entertaining, this show serves up at least 1 thing per episode of what NOT to do when the zombie apocalypse comes.

I HIGHLY suggest the comic books if youre into zombie stuff. The second season of the show would be much improved if they followed the comics more closely.

Based on the preview for next week, it looks like Shane learned nothing from the stomping and rescue he got. I figure this season will end with him and the blonde (what is her name?) being exiled or heading off on their own or getting themselves in major trouble because they "don't play well with others."

Yep, Shane and the blond really seem to breaking away with a totally different mindset than the others, they will have to leave eventually.

The first season was hand down amazing, but with this new season I can't really get into it. Too much of the same area, and too much getting to know each character & the drama that comes with that. However, with these latest episodes a lot more action is going on which makes me all the more apt to watching it!

It's a great show! Just need to get back together and blow more zombies away and then take a sex break after cleaning off the zombie slime.

I'd go and try to get on augusta and play it.

This season has been strange. It's hard for the actors to carry an episode with only one or two other characters. Last night was an exception.

Changing gears, what happened at the beginning of last week's episode? Shane and Glenn are traveling together and they run into Bob on his own. The rest of the episode Glenn is missing and Bob is with the two girls. Flashback? Flash forward? LSD trip? They lost me.

That wasn't Shane. It was Daryl on the motorcycle. It was a flashback to when they found Bob. Last nights episode was crazy though. I mean,as someone else said,we knew Lizzy had some issues but killing her sister? Wow.

There was a lot of foreshadowing in the episode though, which kind of gave it away.

Not so much HOW it happens, but that it happens. They're sitting outside of the house when they find it and there are two graves, one clearly for a small child.

I'm not sure how I feel about this show. It seems to be great and then in other moments it's ridiculously slow.

Messed up is an understatement though I really think it's an accurate depiction of the possibilities of things that could be happening if the show were real life.

Ya...they are doing a pretty damn good job of the psychological damage this type of environment will have on folks. It's not just about using a big machine gun and blowing away walkers, and then having sloppy sex when the area is deemed safe.

Lol. It's made the show a lot more interesting,to me anyway. Doesn't seem so "writen" when the do things like this last week. As graphic or disturbing as it was to some viewers.

The choice to focus so deeply on the characters has been pretty good. When you have a big cast it can be easy to start ignoring some.... kind of like American Horror Story does.

I'm ready for some real action now though.

Yeah, I figured the last episode would be crazy. I'm kind of wondering what Terminus will end up being.

That's going to be interesting to see. I'm wondering how close they are going to stay to the comics with Terminus and if we will see Negan any time soon (if at all).

I was. It was a good episode if it were a mid-season finale or a lead in to a finale, but it was weak for ending a season and making us wait 6 months.

It was a good episode. I've really enjoyed this season. I think they could've made it more dramatic and less predictable. My wife was mad cause I called it weeks ago.

So what are your predictions or what you would like to see when it returns?

With all the disease going around i'm kinda wondering who would be a cannibal considering the circumstances.
