My favorite memory walking a golf course playing with my dad and my two brothers. In the morning we play Bayonet then play Blackhorse at noon. This was the first time we all played together 36 Holes. Priceless.

nice.. 9 1/2 .. gotta say my favorite walk was the first time I played Cypress.. was a crystal clear day and warm.. little breeze and I was in awe of the course.. was just enjoying the company of three real good friends and two great caddies and then across 17 mile drive we went and I saw 15 for the first time in person.. and then the walk through the "woods" .. I was struck by how much I love this game.. was super.. shot 77.. not so super.. went over to Sticks at Spanish Bay to have lunch and had their fish and chips..great food. followed that up the next day with a bone chilling round at Pebble.. Spent 45 minutes on the tee at 8.. I birdied that b****.. focus. I love walking all the Pebble Beach courses with my favorite caddies and playing partners.. could do that every decent weather day it doesn't rain for the rest of my life. we've become fair weather players.. but there was a time...

My first and favorite memory of golf is when I went out with my father and his best friend when I was 8 years old. We were on a family vacation and the 3 of us when and played Oak Creek Golf Course (Tom Fazio) in Irvine CA. I didn't play a full 18 or even a full 9 holes, but it was a beautiful morning (6:30 tee time) and the course was immaculate. I was hooked from that point on. I remember that we were playing one of the par 4s and I was about 40 yards away and I holed out a PW. It was the coolest feeling in the world! (I think that it was for a 10 or 11 on the scorecard, but who cares!) Thanks FJ for this great opportunity!

Size 9M if I win. One of my favorite memories was walking an afternoon round with an 8th grader in Huntington Beach. It was raining and we were the only two out on the course. We walked the front nine briskly as he told me how he was striving to make the high school team as a freshman. Before we knew it, we were making the turn and the weather broke. The clouds parted, the sun came out and we finished in just under 3 hours. It was one of the fastest walking rounds I have ever played. It was truly unforgettable.

My fondest memories of walking a golf course are probably from high school golf in the Fall. 3 other guys on the team were good buddies of mine so it was really a great time going out there in a foursome and getting multiple rounds in throughout the week. Something about fall golf always appealed to me and we had a great time out there, even if we didn't win all of our matches.

my best memory of walking a course was the first time i went to arizona to play golf. it was the middle of the summer and we went out and played both troon north monument as well as the pinnacle course. the sites were insane and we were out there for a bachelor party. the sites out there are insane and it is amazing to see that green of grass in the middle of the desert.
please sign me up for a size 9.5 on the shoes.

Thanks for the giveaway! Size 10 please!

My favorite memory is coming up 18, a Par 5 at our home course. The green is dramatically uphill, you can't see where balls finish and it's a blind approach shot in. My dad had his 3rd shot from bought 150 yards, and with the uphill, he went with his 175 club, a 4 hybrid. He hit it pretty good, on the left side of the green, where the flag was. There is a steep slope that balls sometimes slip down on the left side of the green, and when we got up to the green and couldn't find his ball, we thought it had gone there. We looked down the slope and into the rough and couldn't find anything, when we got a crazy idea... Sure enough, we walked over to the hole, and his ball was laying against the flag in the cup. His first and only eagle ever. That's my most vivid golfing memory ever, just a great moment.

Anyway, thanks again FJ!

My favorite memory was being on the 7 th fairway at Morgan creek golf club last year and hearing my wife scream from the 8th tee as she holed her tee shot on the par 3. At first I thought brad Pitt may have shown up on the course but it was my lovely wife and ger girlfriends, all giggling from having witnessed a hole in one. Magical. Please make mine a size 10.5. Those look sick...

My favorite walking memory;

I went out to a local course at the butt crack of dawn; I was the first one out, as a solo no less...I got to see the sun rise over the 3rd fairway with a dense layer of fog covering the 5ft above the grass...it was a sublime experience...one that I'll never forget.

Count me in, Size 15

A good walking memory would be 2 or 3 summers ago playing while on vacation in Jersey. We booked a tee time for easily the hottest day of the year, 105+. The course had no water out because of lawsuits over contaminated water at a nearby course. Fortunately for us they were giving out free ice and water bottles and we were able to convince them to let us carry a bucket of ice and water bottles along with us. Between the three of us we probably drank 18 or so waters during the round. Im pretty sure we were the only people stupid enough to be out on the course that day

Size 12 ... As wide as you have them

My favorite walking story ... EASY ..

Me - Brain Pavlet - Mike Moulton - Owner of my company

Disney course during the PGA show

Par 3 .. I hit a ball off an out of bounds steak (which my ball had nestled right next to) directly into my OWN TEETH. Don't ask !!! ... I was on the ground dying .. The other 3 were on the deck laughing ... Vodka ensued ... GREAT DAY !!!!

Nuff said ;)

Walking the course I grew up on in Anniston, AL. playing behind my dad who was also walking. The guy in my group said " I bet that's your dad up there" we didnt know each other and I asked him how he figured that. He said" you both walk and carry a bag the same way!" I'll never forget that day! I was actually proud at that moment! I'm in! Send me a pair of 10.5's in medium PLEASE!

My greatest golf memory was when I got a hole in one at the country club I worked at as a kid in the summer. My day would consist of working at the pool from 10 am to 4 pm, then playing 9 holes whenI got off. I was playing with a friend of mine that worked in the bag room, along with my brother and his friend. It was about 7:30 or so, and the sun was setting. It was easy to see the fairways and greens, but hard to see the ball once it left the clubface. At this point, we were all playing off of feel. We were on the par 3 204 yard 16th hole when I hit the shot of the summer. I hit a solid 3 iron, with that solid contact sound that you can't describe in words. Although we all couldn't see it, I just knew I hit it good, and was happy with the fact that I probably hit the green of this long par 3 over water. As we approached the green, there was not a ball on the green. As we walked up to the green, we saw one ball long and two balls in the bunker. My brother said that he thought I may have gone long because everyone hit 4 iron other than me. When I got to the ball that was long, I saw that it was not my Titleist 1 professional 90, but my brother's top flite. As he walked from the front greenside bunker, across the green, to his ball long, he glanced in the hole and said, "Hey ***hole, why don't you check the hole?" I raced over to the hole, only to find my ball at the bottom of the cup. We all went wild and everyone in the group signed the golf ball. This is not only a great golf memory of mine, but also a lesson: when you can't find your ball, but you know you struck it well, just check the hole.smilie_titty.gif

One of my favorite golf memories is playing golf with one of my friends who is a teaching pro. I watched him hit two balls out of bounds then one in the lake on a par 5. It was at that point that I started Laughing at him from across the fairway and gave him a hi five. He still talks to me to this day, can you believe it? I have many memories from Augusta National as a patron and would love to rock these shoes. 11.5D

Usually, I end up reading through everyone else' response and try to come up with a better memory than others have and I just realized what a waste that is. I remember playing at PGA West in Palm Springs over Christmas Break with my dad and two of his friends. I flew out from CO to play and spend the week there and he was adamant about playing. I ended up getting to the golf course and he and I BOTH forgot our golf shoes. Since I was on a flight back home I was in no position to be purchasing a new pair of shoes which my dad ended up buying. Right off the first tee I ended up shanking it because my foot slipped out from under me. Couldn't feel dumber playing on such a nice course!

11.5 please.
Favorite Golf Experience to this day. Summer of 1997.. Playing the longest, driest, and sheer hardest track I have ever seen. Downtown Fort Worth Texas near TCU with my ex-girlfriends father. Sliced it all over the place, and lost what feels to this day 30 or 40 balls.
Got back to his house, and he gave me an old set of Chicago III irons with a couple Callaway knock offs, and a 20 year old putter all of which I still have.
This was my start, and I have never looked back.

I will go back and play that course again someday!

My favorite moment walking a golf course is my first round with my father. I still remember that it was public course at a community college. It was middle of summer in Southern Cailfornia. The ground was hard as a rock, but my father took the time to teach me some basics and then we had fun. the first round of many.

Thank you FJ!
