My favorite memory is walking with my dad when I first started getting more into playing. He would carry my bag and would help me keep my cool when things weren't going well. He never played much but he would always come with me and watch me play.

My grandmother, who absolutely loves golf, got me to give the game a try when I was 14 years old. I absolutely wanted no part of it, but as soon as I got out on the course I was hooked! She is the only reason I golf today and have ever golfed for that matter. She never rode a cart always walked, and I love the memories I have of walking the dew moistened fairways first thing in the morning with her as we shared the peace and calmness together not to mention learning about life in general. I also got to be there to witness her hole-in-one! Even had her buy me a coke! Lol. She doesn't play too much anymore but I need to get out with her this year if she will go. Thanks for bringing these great memories back to me tonight!

I have to say it was at West Lake Country Club in Augusta with my Dad, Brother and Sister-in-law. It was a day of some good shots and a lot more bad ones but it will be a day I will never forget. My dad passed away in 2004 a week before the birth of my son and I lost my mentor and gained my greatest joy in my son Payne.

My favorite memory was when my mom was finally healthy enough to come out with my baby brother for the first time. It was nine holes with me and my dad competing, at the time making a par felt like making eagles. My brother was so small and made so many baby noises in my backswing...I felt like I had "rabbit ears" the entire time. I was 12 this happened right before augusta 1998.

My favorite walking memory is playing Pinehurst 2 for a work event. We took caddies and it was amazing. The caddie we had was hoping to loop for Luke Donald at the coming US Open at Pinehurst (was that 04?). Anyway I loved walking that course and soaking in the atmosphere of Pinehurst - the history, posing like Payne on 18, putting off the green because they are so fast and just enjoying the game the way I wish I always could. There is nothing better than walking 18 and having someone else carry your bag. Thanks Footjoy for the contest!

•Where: Bandon Dunes (+Pacific Dunes + Old MacDonald)

•Playing Partners: Same group every year (Late March-Early April)

•Lowlights: The time someone snap hooked a 3 wood into my left thigh on the 13th hole @ Bandon (still finished BTW...)

My favorite golf memory would have to be playing at Oglebay Golf Resort in Wheeling, WV for the Single A State title. We finished 5th but it was still a great experience.

Walking the UF golf course as a student was a joy on every occasion. No responsibilities, no obligations, just me and my clubs on the best golf course in Florida.

Best memory... my dad at 75 walking the Old Course, having already walked another SA course earlier in the day.

We lucked out and were selected to play in one of the last games of the day, which we were not expecting. Got paired up with a man from S. Africa and a man from Milwaukee, and had a wonderful time. My dad is still playing golf, but not walking anymore, and whenever we play together, which is not as often as I like, I think back to our pictures of the trip. Primarily our photo on the Swilcan Bridge, but there are others. The day on the Jubilee Course in high winds and the sideways downpour, the smile on his face and the pleasure we both got spending that time together. It makes me smile just writing about it.

walking riviera cc for the very first time. i was 14. playing with my brother, father, and best friend from school. playing golf a a course with a lot of history and one that i had seen on tv so many times was amazing. teeing it up where so many greats had was amazing. shooting 75 that day on a course like that playing some of the best golf i had ever played was amazing. remembering a punched 3 wood on the fourth hole that landed just above the trap, i had no idea how good it was until i came up just past the trap and saw that it had rolled and found its way to just a few feet from the hole. it was a day i will never forget.

those myjoy icons in a 8 would be awesome but even without them, ill never forget that day.

Many favorite memories, but one that stands out was back in 1993 as a junior, walking nine with my mom, on my birthday, and then watching her ace a short par 3. Stole my thunder that day, lol.

Thanks for taking my entry, size 10.5 medium. Best memory was the morning round after taking my brother-in-law to mexican restaurant for spicy food and too many tequila drinks. He had to rip the tee towel off the ball washer before disappearing into the woods on hole #5. He took so long we had to let a group through. We asked them to pretend to be upset about "jerks who steal ballwasher towels", when he returned. Maybe you had to be there...

A couple of years ago, walking my local course... Had gotten paired up in a twosome but playing partner had to quit at #14.... Which meant I had no witness when I hit a hole in one on #17.

Always use FJ's..... Most comfortable walking shoe out there for me.

Working and walking the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am as a score-bearer as a broke high school youth, not even knowing what golf shoes were back then (early 90's). Getting a pair of these will certainly be a far-cry from them earlier days.
