I have had the Putter for 5 years or so, Bought it from a golf store here in Michigan. The Driver display I bought from a guy in Ohio a couple years ago. I was going through a TW collectables phase, figured things of his would be valuable later. I bought 3 Titleist Tiger Driver Headcovers at the same time.

Is it true that those head covers never actually went to retail? I saw one on Ebay a few months back and the person claimed they received it from a charity event. Either way, a pretty cool collectible to have.

I do not know if they ever were available retail, I bought all of mine the same month from ebay. I wanted them as a reminder of when Tiger played Titleist, and they are the first ones I believe. They have the TAI embroidery of " love from mom". I also have a brand new set of 681T irons from the same era.

Thanks CPA, I used to collect everything I could get my hands on, Headcovers, balls, clubs etc. Believe it or not I am actually alot better at not buying everything I see. Golf stuff like all collectibles are tough, most don't hold their value, it is hard to say what will be and what won't be worth anything.

i'd take those silly plaques down and use those sticks, especially that putter. you only live life once, why not? what good does it do to look at it. but looks like you got everything else!! el tigre played a cobra driver in the masters? is that the one he played for years? did he play that same driver with the steel shaft even after everyone else was going to graphite?

 

Tiger switched to graphite only recently...I think the start or sometime in 2004. He used a 975D for along time after that cobra, and then miscellaneous nike ptorotypes of varying sizes, including 335 and 410 cc ignites, before settling on the 460 ignite he's still using.

Like i said i went through a Tiger phase, where i bought almost anything that had his name on it, i hope one day it will be worth something, i have cards, bobbleheads, Nike Golf balls, video games, computer games, books, all kinds of Tiger stuff. Sad thing is, i am not really a fan of him, i just hope all this stuff will be valuable one day for my children.

Thanks TourPro, i use to buy so much stuff, that i look back now and think, man was i crazy. Hopefully someday it will be worth something and my children can benefit from it all.

I've got a 1998 Champions of Golf Masters Collection graded PSA9 Tiger Woods card, sopposidly this is what everyone claims is the "REAL" rookie. I believe that it is worth in the $3,000 range as there are only 2 PSA10 that exist that are valued at $60,000. I am not a big Tiger fan but figured I'd might as well get the rarest of the rare & buy the authentic rookie card. I am a Sergio fan & own a few of his items, Masters flag, graded BGS10 2001 SP auto rookie 1 of 900, & a 2000 graded PSA10 rookie.

I have the set of 4 Dozen balls from his 'Grand Slam'. Do you think these will be worth something some day, they are new in the box, I am just thinking that since there are so many of them, that they won't retain their value very well.

 

Any insight?
