I'm sure they will replay it. You didn't miss anything. What happened was they asked Megan if she was mad she got kicked off 1st. She said she was mad that she got kicked off 1st when she is working her butt off and other girls made it further who aren't playing comptetive golf, aren't even giving it a go and shooting really bad scores. It sounded really bad on the show, but in her blog she explains it better and made a lot more sense. Other than that, the other 59 mins was pretty lame.

The reunion was funny. They made it like the big brother reunion. I was surprised at the comments made from Meghan and Shannon. Obviously, they are not fond of their competitors nor have much respect for them and wanted to show it. Zakiya handled herself well through some tough comments thrown her way by Shannon and Allison when she gave up her points and took immunity instead. Any of the girls would of done the same thing and she got criticized for it. I figured Marcela would win cause she is very experienced and her mental/physical game is definitely one of strongest of the bunch if not the strongest.

I like the show. Every shot is so pressure packed. I can't imagine how difficult it is to hit one shot every few hours and it has to be good or you may get kicked off. Winning it doesn't always equate to the best golfer but it is fun to watch the competition.

I want to say a couple of things about this season since I watched just about every episode and I just recently went back on my Tivo to watch the reunion show. Especially after the comments that 78Staff made.

1. Why did the big break cast most of these players? They had the most boring personalities. Only girls who were memorable was Z and Megan. Thank god they both made it through the casting. 

2. Megan. Megan. Megan. I liked her until she said those comments on the reunion show. She shot 73 twice and she should be on tour and in the finale on the BB? Get out of here. I was glad when Aubrey put her in her place.

3. Selanee. She was getting really cocky on the show when I heard that she's steadily shooting in the 80's on the Symetra Tour. She can't do well because of her nerves? Isn't she almost 30? Ill just stop there before I go too far.

I'm still trying to figure out how she pulled together a miraculous one percent victory over Z for the fan voting competition. Z was leading the competition for the whole season. I know because me and my other buddies were constantly voting for her when she got kicked off. Something was very fishy about that. And is anybody really surprised by the fact that Z was leading. Z was known before the show. The first time that I saw her was on CNN a year or two ago. 

4. Z. Her outfits might've been crazy but I liked her personality. If she wouldnt have been on the show I wouldnt have been able to make it through one episode. I think that the Golf Channel realized that too when they noticed just how boring all of the rest of the other competitors were. Which makes sense as to why they brought out the buyout option out of thin air when she went to elimination. Z would make a killing off of endorsements alone if she ever stepped a foot on to the LPGA Tour. 

JMHO about everything. No longer will I be hyped when they open applications for a new season. Don't know if I would even watch any future seasons after seeing how everything went down with this one. If they rigged the voting competition its no telling what else was rigged.

I'd have to say I am/was surprised... take an informal poll of the golfers I hang with on a regular basis and who actually watch the show, Z was universally the most disliked. Whether because of attitude, dress, cockiness, lack of game, color, whatever I can't/won't say. But seeing Z at the top for so long after leaving the show was a surprise for me.

In the very early weeks of the show, both Meghan and Kelly were the leaders, and I think we all know why. But after a few weeks Z pretty much took over and stayed in the lead up until the very end. Selanee tweeted daily the last half of the series run basically and her numbers came up to the point in the last couple weeks it was really only Z and Selanee with any chance, both hovering around 30%, until the end where it wound up 31/29 in favor or Selanee.

Rigged? Padding? Obviously I can't say for sure. But is seems Z staying in the lead so long after leaving the show is suspicious, and Selanee getting so many votes at the end to overcome Z could also be seen as suspicious. As I stated above, in the end I think a vote for Selanee might have been a vote against Z if nothing else.

And they take girls who aren't competitive golfers and either don't aspire to be or just have no chance of becoming one. That those girls should have never gotten on the show and that girls like her who are out busting a$$, putting up their own cash, travelling and playing should be on the show.

I read this, thanks for the link. I agree, it comes off a whole lot better, and actually makes some sense, unlike the tirade on the show. What a train wreck that was. And to be fair, if BB was more restrictive on entries, ie only girls who actually might have chance at making it on tour, I don't think Meghan would have made it on the show to begin with considering her skill level at the time of the show. So me thinks she might protest a bit too much there .

I saw Kelly in Orlando, she was practicing under the tutelage of a PGA Pro...so she is attempting to so something. How successful she has been/will be is a question mark for sure.

Judging by those twitter screen caps Z must've been in the lead at that point LOL. Maybe I'll tweet Z on Twitter to see what was going on with that. I'm sure that she probably has a lot to say about it. I didn't know that there was a stipulation against what race could vote. I wonder if Z responded to those tweets that Selanee and her fan base were tweeting because to me thats clear racism(And I'm Caucasian). I cant believe that BB was even letting Selanee tweet some of that especially since Z was the only AA on the show. They wouldve been really offended if Z wouldve said that Selanee had a lot of Caucasian friends so she mustve been using bots (I would assume that Z didn't say anything like that. She seems to have a level head on her shoulders.)

Im also going to read that link on Megan now to see what she said about her comments. And you saw Kelly practicing? I liked Kelly. I hope she proves to Megan and the others on the show that she is taking golf seriously. It will be interesting to hear what the others who were on the show are doing now.

Probably so, Zakiya had the lead pretty much the entire show after the Meghan/Kelly voting tapered off after the 3rd week or so. However, I'm not sure I would call it racism, Selanee's reference to "friends in India" was more likely a tongue-in-cheek reference to the high number of votes Zakiya was getting at the time from Indian voters (or tweeters, actually - tweets=votes in this case, and are visible to all, iirc.), and the suspicion that Z was using a bot (or someone on behalf of Z).

Since Z never responded it would be interesting to get her take on it, post back if you find out anything. Supposing we give the bot theory credence, It's very possible that a Z fan setup a bot with ought Z knowing anything about it, to be honest.

Re Kelly yeah a couple weeks ago, she was pretty into a long practice session with a teaching pro at a local Orlando Course. I was only there one day but the staff indicated she is there on a regular basis...

Point 1....totally agree.....this season was pretty bland. Nice eye candy....but the quality of the show (both from a golf and drama perspective) was pretty low.

Point 2....might I ask that you clarify what you mean by Meghan shot 73 twice and should be on tour? From her play that I saw, I'd be amazed if she broke 80.

Point 3.....Selanee....liked her in the beginning....thought she was all julia stiles and whatnot....and her nervous laughs and twitches were kinda cute....but she got real cocky/bitchy pretty fast and it wore real thin.

I have to jump on the 78Staff bandwagon about the fishiness of Z being the popularity leader for so long....she was eliminated so early, how could she be THAT popular with fans of the show (who, in theory should be the bulk of the voters) if they barely got to see her.....that doesn't make sense....the bot idea seems fairly plausible based on that logic.

Point 4....while I agree that, based on her amateur career achievements, Z might have a real shot at an LPGA career....and she does appear pretty marketable....I'd like to point out that the buy out options didn't come out of thin air....it was there the entire show, until half the cast was gone and they took it away.

As for the number of votes that Z got. I believe that every time someone called customer service to Comcast or ATT and they were transferred to India, it counted as a vote for Z.

Actually, I get your point, but the reality is young and cute sells. Especially when starting with only 6 vs 12 for a typical ladies version.
