That seemed like a possibility, since Meghan was early in college. I remember Charlotte Campbell of Highway 18 played the Futures Tour for a few years then wrote on her blog that she was giving up professional golf and had to wait one year to regain amateur status.

Meghan has decided to "postpone" college for a few years and play the mini tours in hopes of making the LPGA. I read the transcript of her Live Chat on Golf Channel.com a few minutes ago. She provided those specifics after somebody asked about her plans. IMO, it's a mistake. It takes roughly a 72 scoring average under tournament conditions, and with plenty of consistency, to earn an LPGA card via either the Symetra Tour or LPGA Q School final stage. Meghan shot 79-77-76 in her first pro event last week, on the Cactus Tour.

Was kind of a let down for me a little, maybe I had higher expectations, but it didn't seem to be as good as previous seasons. Breaking the glass used to seem like it was harder for people, did they change the distance on that shot?

Back to the more important debate...I am going to have to go with real. She reminds me of a "friend" of mine who was 19 when I knew her (identical attributes). I remarked one evening that its amazing how they maintained structural integrity even when unsupported. Her answer, "well I am still only 19."

Super bummed about Meghan being gone. Dammit, she was #1 for me. Extremely hot from head to toe, and great personality/attitude as well. I thought she played great on the playoff hole. Hopefully she will be back.

I dig the Texas girls game and spirit. She just went out and took care of business. She's probably the most motivated, not wanting to go back to Texas.

If she keeps playing like that and the rest keep playing the same, she's going to steam roll them.

Also, nice to see GC stuck to their guns and didn't put a token ugly girl on the show.....

Anya might not be around too much longer on the show, if I had to guess. Last night the producers threw in the short segment on her desire to raise awareness on sexual abuse. It was awkwardly placed and seemingly no need for it on the first show, unless they won't have much time to adequately tell her story.

Last year on Big Break Ireland the producers quickly tossed in the segment on the Notre Dame girl -- Annie Brophy -- and her scoring shenanigans during the NCAA tournament as a senior. When Annie went into final elimination on the next show...fairly predictable outcome.

I recall the "Behind the Scenes" add-on from a few seasons ago, the one in Europe iirc. I enjoyed that show more than the actual BB show lol. It was very interesting to see how the structure differs from the end result we see on tv, ie the shooting schedule, timing, rules interaction, etc. Not to mention there was some cool commentary/confessionals not shown in the normal program. I have wondered why they stopped the BTS show, I guess too much money for addtional crew/editing/etc.

Shannon is a good player. She won the Texas State Women's Open last year. However, she has moved to Arizona to play the Cactus Tour and only comes to Texas to visit.

I doubt she's the winner, but only because on all the promos it is her image that closes the commercial. I think it means she goes a long way, but doesn't end up on top.

Did you watch the preview show? This was highlighted approximately 42 times during the show including extensive footage of her speeches.

I'm kinda torn on who I'm pulling for in this one. Originally I figured it would be Aubrey cause I somehow became FB friends with her a couple years ago and follow most of her updates, including everything from struggling on the Futures, basically hanging it up, and then deciding to audition for BB and subsequently finding out that she got picked. So basically I don't know her personally, but through the magic of Facebook, I feel like I have some kind of loose connection to her. Now that being said, I didn't know till the preview show that a Pittsburgh girl was on gonna be on there. Anya doesn't really strike me as one of the tougher competitors, but how can I not pull for a girl from the burgh? I was laughing when they did her short intro and they showed her hitting some balls at a little driving range, and I was like, 'hey, i just drove by that place last week.'

There are MUCH better sources for T&A than Golf Channel. A compelling show with some redeeming quality on it's own that ALSO prominently features T&A... always good.
