Here's one for the Lunar Controls! I have a variety of golf shoes ( Adipures, cell fusion, Nike zoom elite). While each have there prospective strengths I'd say hands down in terms of style, function, and comfort the Lunar Controls are the best golf shoe I've owned. I will say I'm intrigued by the True's myself but for me, no matter how comfortable they are they can never be as pleasing to the eye as the Nikes.

I wouldn't count the Trues out for stability. I have very sensitive ankles due to gout and my Trues are by far the best for stability. They are lower to the ground. I have experienced zero slippage.

I love my Trues. I have a pair of Tours and a pair of Stealths. Both are incredibly comfortable, and surprisingly very stable for a spikeless shoe. I've had no problems with slippage with them.

I don't care how stable a shoe is if my feet hurt for 2 days after I walk 18 holes in the Texas summer heat. That being said, I own 4 pairs of TRUE's now and have no desire to try anything else. I haven't had any slippage in normal situations (excluding side hills with one foot in the sand) and they even held up well when playing 7 holes during a downpour a few weeks ago (I wish I could say the same for keeping my grips dry)!

I would consider the Adidas Crossflex as well....best minimalist shoe that I've tried.

I appreciate the advice but I've narrowed my shoe selection down to these 3. Maybe I'll try the Crossflex out the next time I'm by an Edwin Watts but judging by the poll results it looks like I'll have to try the True Tours out while I'm at Edwin Watts as well.

Thanks to a fellow WRX'r, I have 2 new pair of True Stealth's(Black and Brown). I can not wait to give them a go on the course. They are hands down the most comfortable pair of golf shoes that my feet have ever experienced.
They also fit(unlike the Ecco Bioms) for a 9.5 size feet. The only store in our area that carries them is Golfsmith. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a comfortable pair of golf shoes to try these on. If you put about $100.00 more of stuff in your cart, GS has a $100.00 off coupon and talk to a sales guy and they carry around $20.00 off coupons so you can save $120.00 on a $500.00 purchase.

ATV's are to me the most stable and comfortable shoes out of the group plus they have some good color schemes.

I love my Trues. I also have a pair of Lunar Controls and have had previous versions of the 360s.

At this point, I have no interest in wearing shoes with traditional spikes. The spikeless shoes are lighter and more comfortable. My feet feel much better at the end of the round and the next morning.

I might sacrifice a tiny bit in terms of stability, but it isn't a situation where I feel like I slip at all.

What color scheme true's would you get? The style is a bit off for my taste.

I bought Lunar Controls and ATV's and I prefer the Lunar Controls. Seem lighter, more comfortable, and lower profile.

I think my next shoe will be the Nike Lunar Ascend's (spikeless/molded). Ridiculously light, flexible, breathable and low profile.

Us mortals have to wait another half month before we can try them out. I do really want to though. They look awesome. What is the price point?

Feet don't come much flatter than mine and I love my true's, my other golf shoes haven't touched my feet since picking them up. If they looked better I would wear them for everyday, that's how comfortable they are for me.

I had a chance to see the new Lunar Control for 2013...let me tell you, wait for these. They might be the best, and I can't believe I'm referring to them as traditional, traditional type of golf shoe ever. They are lighter, more flexible, more stable, and even better looking than the current LC's. I can't remember when they come out, but it should be in the next 4-5 months.

2013 Lunar Control Sneak Peek

July 17, 2012 By Alan Numsuwan 7 Comments

Nike Golf has managed to upgrade one of my favorite golf shoes in their history, the Lunar Control. New for 2013, the Lunar Control will undergo some design changes as well as upgrades to its performance. More details will emerge on the specifics, but reports indicate that they are lighter, more flexible, and more stable. The shoe’s platform alone shows obvious changes to its flexibility and stability. Flywire continues to be heavily incorporated into the shoe, and it will come in a variety of basic colorways.

The 2013 Lunar Control will include:

  • Premium full-grain waterproof leather (no change)
  • Full length Lunarlon cushioning (no change)
  • Lightweight Flywire midfoot saddle (minor upgrade)
  • Full length contoured sockliner (minor upgrade)
  • Articulated Power Platform outsole (major upgrade)
  • Nike Power Transfer Zone (major upgrade)
  • 2-year limited waterproof warranty (no change)
  • Champs Zarma spikes with Tri-Lok (minor upgrade)

As for the looks of the new lunar controls I'm not too excited. It looks like the swoosh is glittery, and I don't like the style of the cushioning on the bottom. I'm sure that it's very comfortable though.
