Haven't seen all the groups yet, some of these are good (the "Bobs" makes me chuckle). Isn't it the case that the US Open puts together an "a-hole" group as well. I believe Feinstein wrote about that and it's either US or PGA that does it.

Can't wait to see the big group this year, primetime is gonna be awesome.

Bubba with probably clean both their clocks and flying it by them.

looks like only TW kept his cool, and executed a solid game plan in Round 1.

Phil has usually (the last few years anyway when TW was in disarray) played well along side TW, given the extra motivation to beat him, but it appears that now with TW rounding back into form, some of that "intimidation" factor is coming back into play again...and Phil isn't able to shut out the distractions. One would have thought with Phil wipping TW by 11 shots on Day 4 at Pebble Beach earlier in the year, he'd be playing with good memories, but alas ....

Bubba can't play consistently well on tough US Open courses, and as expected, is an after thought after Round 1. Only the press can write up someone who's game is unsuitable for a US Open (unless it was playing soft like 2011).

This is a excellent post, I'm having a hard time to find anything to disagree with. Phil had his time with TW. Now TW is back.
