He's played twice since the BMW, he finished 10th at the Tour Championship (30 man field admittedly, but nothing to be ashamed of), and his record was 3-2 at the Ryder Cup where he beat the hottest player on the US team with no warm up.

I suppose anything less than first is a disappointment after the few weeks he had, but a "nose dive" is a bit of an exaggeration.

I used this link, thank you for posting it, and it worked very well. I clicked on the espn option and then put it to the full screen view. I don't have the plug in but once i switched it to full screen, that pesky message went away.

Personally, I don't think Rory cares about golf until like . . . . April. Don't forget, these guys play golf as a job. So getting wood for the Turkish Fedex Cup is probably not happening. JMHO

Rory is totally focused on the race to Dubai, He wants to win the Euro title after finishing runner up the last 2 years, appears he didnt hold a club since the RC until yesterday...This is a nothing event 300k for just turning up, both Tours are not amused to say the least. Just watching the highlights there and it's amazing how different even these top guys play without all their preparation (mental and physical). Never seen so many 3 putts, 20 foot putts raced 10ft past the hole, putts going off the green.. these are the best players in the world. OK they still put in decent scores but that's a pretty easy course, hopefully they'll tear it apart tomorrow.

I've quite enjoyed the tournament so far, Turkey has been an 'alternative' destination for golf holidays for a while now but hopefully this will get more people interested.

Interesting to see the difference in performance without so much preparation and a Ryder Cup hangover...

Sorry I was unclear. My derision is toward the "medal-match" format.

I agree with you about true match play. Wish more people in the States would adopt it for their weekend rounds, I believe it would go a long way to improve our pace of play problem.

Looks like Tiger beat Kuchar today with a 67 to Kuchars 72. Rory lost to Charl by 1 stroke 71-70. Rory and Tiger got rained out. Other morning matches went Rose beat Lee 66-69 and Webb beat Hunter 65-67.
