Fairway woods appear to have a pretty decent sized head. NOn-adjustable. Again higher launching and lower spinning. Longer heel to toe and designed to carry 7 to 9 yards longer on mishits on the bottom of the face. Same matte black non glare finish.

The hybrids are much more traditional looking this time around. Non adjustable as well. They look very similar to the i20 hybrid in this regard. Again longer heel to toe supposedly more forgiving on mis hits low on the face. Same matte black non glare finish as the other three.

The irons are thinner on the top line, and sole, but still maintain ample forgiveness. They profile to fit golfers anywhere from about an 8 up to a high handicapper. They have a satin finish that looked similar to the gorge groove wedges but hard to tell from a picture on an iPad. These will be roughly the same price as the G20 irons.

They've got a new face insert on their putter line. A couple new bags, very similar to past models. No more retractable straps.

FWIW, he showed the s56 iron, which I pointed out I played. And asked if they have plans for a new model which he replied to with don't be surprised if you see something during the PGA show.

All of the new line is scheduled to be unveiled at the PGA Show which I believe is in January. And they will be ready to ship in March.

They are sticking with the Red/Black/Gray/White similar to G15, but more streamlined and less boxy. Kinda similar to the old Cobra S9 Irons

I hope the G25 irons have less weight on the toe than the G10, G15, and G20's do. I think they got carried away with that in trying to increase static MOI. I just picked up a set of old G2's and like them a lot better than the G15's I had last year.

+1! We are being told that the G25's have a smaller cavity back and topline than recent models, hence a shift towards the smaller G2's would be a nice welcome! And if the rumors of the G25 having the same ctp insert as the I20's/s56's are true, they should feel a whole lot better too!

The G20 wasn't to my liking when I demo'd it and the I20 this past spring. The I20 really rocked but I never took the plunge and now the season is all but over. Will it still be available next spring via retail or is there an I25 replacing it too?

No I25 line to go with the new G. The ANSER line launched in August is the current substitute for the I Line.

The Anser line is no substitute for the i line, they just don't release the G and i series at the same time anymore. The i20 were just released in at the beginning of this year. and now the G25 should be released at the beginning of next year. They changed all there product cycles.

Ooooh...matte dark grey is seriously "all business". I have never been a fan of a one OEM bag, if for no other reason that there is so much great equipment to use. After reading this thread start to finish and especially with BNich0622's descriptions, I can honestly say there is a chance in 2013. The G25 driver, FW's and hybrids sound exactly what I need/want. Previous G hybrids just didn't make me feel confident over the ball so a more traditional shape has me very interested, as does the FW's that are longer heel to toe AND lower spinning!! My G15 irons will be staying in the bag to possibly welcome some new family members. Great irons, great OEM.

I play i20's right now, which I like, but I'm psyched to try the G25's. I hit a buddy's G20 hybrids the other day and they are by far the most forgiving hybrid I've ever hit. They are not the prettiest looking club at address, but it's not distracting or anything. The G15 irons are super nice too.

Although never as exciting as the other equipment this is ping's main money making line. Probably 70% of their profit. Ironically even though all the buzz around things like the i20 anser line as far as the tour type woods the G series always winds up being the top seller and many times the top tour club..

They are iPad only. No physical brochure. (At least not that I am aware of.) It would be very difficult to "sneak" a photo, as the reps show the photos - they don't leave the iPad in the buyer's possession.

But, more to the point of your question . . . No. Not unless the store/club pro wants to risk losing his/her account and getting the rep fired. And most of the folks I know like their rep and wouldn't want to get him/her in trouble.

Interesting that Callaway and Taylor Made have both revealed pics and tons of info on their respective irons which hit retail the same time as the G25's, yet nothing from Ping. Heck, Ping does not even acknowledge that they are being released.

S55's still not on the design table, with the s56's still in the winning circle there s no plans to update yet, they want to focus more on the G25 and I25 line
it is a bigger portion of there sales.

Most OEM are keeping the hush on new releases. G25 is coming according to local rep. Said it will be a matte grey with adjustability.

Callaway still hasnt leaked the fairways and nothing on the TaylorMade woods front.

I don't blame them. I mean, this speaks volumes about the type of quality product Ping puts out. They're not going to launch something unless it's a better product then it's predecessor. Right not the S56 is competitive in it's segment and the feedback is probably still positive from it's touring staff. So why change? Nike seems to be doing the same thing with their VR combos/blades, and TM the same with their MB/MC's.

We might be seeing less and less OEM's working off a 2 year cycle for their players irons, and concentrating more on upgrading their GI clubs every 18-24months.
