Love Maine in the summer but right around this time of year I start to dispise it and get seasonal depression until it gets warm again

Just so you know, and depending on where in Maine you live, you may not have been introduced to the little known secret to keep from ever having to shovel snow while living in the State. The key is to stock up on "drinkables" before a storm and then call up everyone you know with a pickup to come over to your place. Nothing blazes a path faster than a couple of rednecks with 4 wheel drive.

Now that you are 21 I can share this, which is likely going to assure you the job in Hawaii, because that is often how things go.

I feel ya on that one. I'm from northern Missouri, and winters really suck around here too. I also get the seasonal depression. I'm moody, really pissy, and the wife pretty much hates to be around me. I hate being cooped up in the house for months. I haven't hunted in years, but I think I'm going to take it back up just so I can get out in the winter months.

My wife and I just spent two weeks in August at Kaanapali, just down the road from Kapalua.. It was fabulous but here is some food (literally) for thought.

A loaf of bread.... $5-$7
Milk.......................$3 a quart
Eggs.....................$3 a dozen
Gas.......................$4.40-$4.60 a gallon

A dingy one bedroom apartment will cost $800 a month and up.

Obviously you weigh the pros and cons before making the jump.

Also with the fact that a couple pairs of shorts and couple shirts and he's got all the wardrobe he'll need. No winter clothing, jackets, parkas, gloves, boots.....etc

I should also mention that I applied with Callaway yesterday as well. I want that job more than the one at Kapalua. Outside sales for the Orlando area. If there any Callaway employees on the site, put in a good word! I love their products and would have no problem selling tons of them
