USGA are idiots! They are supposed to ban anchoring putters tomorrow.

The rumor in West Palm, Florida is that the USGA will ban anchoring of putters tomorrow. I cannot believe that the USGA can be so stupid! There are no statistical advantages to using a belly or long putters so why ban them? When courses are fighting for rounds, the USGA is changing rules for no real reason which will drive more players away from the game. I do not understand their reasoning! Don't fix what isn't broken. Do these clowns not have anything better to do except screw everything up? First the stupid change in grooves rule and now this, Mike Davis and the rest of the USGA are complete idiots! I really hope that the PGA takes a stand against these morons!

I just honestly feel like the USGA is making the game harder for the average Joe and being in the golf business, this is bad for business! When was the last time the USGA made an equipment rule change that was good for golf?

Capping the driver size at 460cc. See that drivers are actually starting to come down in size on the PGA Tour? Ban Anchoring, I don't care how long your putter is, but ban anchoring.

You just said that by banning the anchoring of putters that it is making the game harder. So that means your saying that using a belly or long putter makes it easier! I say ban them!
